theessexfox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Schmeichel Moore Morgan Wasilewski Konchesky De Laet Drinkwater James Dyer Knockaert Nugent
TYNMAN Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 I would replace with king in just behind nugent, pack the midfield and win the scrappy battles
Long Eaton Fox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Extra man in midfield for me. King or Hammond. New manager syndrome like Shef Wed which we lost. 433 and keep it tight.
Walker Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Would like to see GTF given a league start. The goal today will have given him a big lift. Hopefully Schlupp is nowhere near the first team
The Horse's Mouth Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Starting GTF would be an awful idea, I know he just scored a goal. But he usually looks shattered after 5 minutes on the pitch.
Tielemans63 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 We should definitely start with 2 up front for me. IMHO we look lost when we flood the midfield. Doesn't suit our game to have just one up top.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 I'd go: Drinkwater Hammond James Dyer Knockaert Nugent De Laet licence to overlap.
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 I trust Pearson to get it right. Whether it be GTF/waggy up top with nuge or an extra man in midfield with dyer and knocky pushed on I'm sure he'll get it right. Whatever he does our bench will be strong enough to change it
Aus Fox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 I'd go Kasper RDL Moore Morgan Konch Knocky James Drinky Dyer King Nuge King can add a third wheel in midfils when required but can also finish if given a chance forward. GTF isn't fit enough for more than 30 mins at the minute, not sure if Waggy or Schluup are up to this level particularly away at Millwall.
Dr The Singh Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 GTF from the start will be a disaster interms of the slating he will get on the forum, same for Waghorn or Schlupp.........as none are really good enough........it's like picking whose shit is better then whose!!
One Legged Beaver Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 I could be wrong but I think Millwall are a fairly slow and aggressive side so I'd go with a sterner side with more pace going forward to worry their defence: Schmeichel MooreWesWasyl Konch De Laet Drinkwater James Dyer Knockaert Nugent
Strokes Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 ....it's like picking whose shit is better then whose!! The nuttier the better!!
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Would play Drinkwater in a more advanced position, bring King in to play next to James.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 So who would your front pairing be? Gonna be a big loss but I think I'd be tempted to start Waghorn with Nugent, he will know these lads fairly well after having been there for a few months. On the flip side they will know Waggy very well.
Bryn Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Think I'd drop Waghorn straight in to the Vardy role.
Simonb Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Tempted to go waghorn in as he knows millwall other option would be knockaert behind nuge and waggy on the right of midfield
Tielemans63 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Logan in goal, Nugent and Schmeichel up front Ah the element of surprise. Crafty. I like it.
GorlestonFox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Who would of thought FT would be panicing about Vardy missing a game at the start of the season!!... Go on Vardy lad!!
Soar Fox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Last time I went Millwall we won. Please go again then. It will be my first visit to the New Den.
TJB-fox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Im going, buzzing for it although went last year and we were diabolical, lost 1-0 (?) If I remember rightly their strike force of nguessan and wood took us apart! I'd play waghorn because 1. He knows them well 2. Probably feels like this is one of his last chances to prove himself here 3. He knows that he may have to leave in January and he'll want to impress , especially if millwall are potential suitors
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Milwall will know how waghorn plays so will hardly fear him GTF for me, he will be usefull for the physical battle
teblin Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 If we want to stay with pace it's Schlupp or waghorn. If we change the system slightly it will be gtf. Think it high lights we need a striker in jan.
foxfanazer Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Ah I had no idea he would be suspended. Knocky just behind Nuge, RDL right mid, Moore right back and Miquel centre back? Won't happen but just an idea
