Happy Fox Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Lazy journalism at it's best Well he did tweet yesterday Follow Liam Mooreâ€@liammoore93 Talk is cheap...
Ric Flair Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 His agents doing this will be, the bloke will take any opportunity to pressure us in to improving Liam's contract. I'd happily take the £5 million bandied about as i'm still not convinced he'll reach the levels some of our fans think he's capable of.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 I read this as: "Liam Moore's agent is a bellend."
Jace Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Blantent stirring by his agent Liam wouldn't do this to us
Happy Fox Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Blantent stirring by his agent Liam wouldn't do this to us Wouldn't his agent and him communicate? Doesn't seem logical that his agent would do this out of his own accord.
nickelbyfox Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Seems quite an easy follow on to previous stories - do think that it can unsettle Moore so hope they are talking to him about the whole situation
5waller5 Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Liam isn't "one of our own" no footballer is .... They are career professionals looking to earn as much money as they can. Why should Leicester talk to Liam about interest from another club?? He's under contract and they aren't interested in selling so it's completely irrelevant. Unless you are a money grabbing footballer - then it's an opportunity to want a new contract despite having 18months on the one you have.
Happy Fox Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 We're hearing reports that Fulham have made a fresh bid for Leicester City defender Liam Moore and have also made an offer for his team-mate Jeffrey Schlupp.Fulham are in the market for new signings and are also keen on Porto midfielder Steven Defour. Graeme Bailey â€@GraemeBailey24m We understand there is a new bid from Fulham for Leicester's Liam Moore and they have also bid for Jeffrey Schlupp.
Bilbo Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Well he did tweet yesterday 45] FollowLiam Mooreâ€@liammoore93 Talk is cheap... Strange, although this again backs up that the Daily Mail are basing this on a Tweet and I doubt their source is reliable. I'm not sure what to make of Moore's Tweet though, he is playing first team football for a team that is top of their league and a club he likes, so what does he want? An improved contract?
Unabomber Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Strange, although this again backs up that the Daily Mail are basing this on a Tweet and I doubt their source is reliable. I'm not sure what to make of Moore's Tweet though, he is playing first team football for a team that is top of their league and a club he likes, so what does he want? An improved contract? Maybe the tweet has nothing to do with football.
Leicesterpool Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Won't be surprised if Redknapp has going something to do with this, like he did with Kevin Phillips stuff. Going around telling the press about other teams transfer plans or making up some.
h1210 Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Fulham target Liam Moore has been angered by Leicester’s handling of his protracted move to Craven Cottage. Strange language to use
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 So much for the why would he go there theory
Happy Fox Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Fulham in for Schlupp as well, seems a bit odd no doubting he is talented but he isn't the answer to Fulham's problems.
hackneyfox Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Blantent stirring by his agent Liam wouldn't do this to us Tongue firmly wedged I hope.
LCCFox96 Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Schlupp has had a kid literally days ago. Would he uproot a young family to leave for a premier league side, that may soon be relegated, to almost certainly being loaned out again to the championship. I think not.
Happy Fox Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Schlupp has had a kid literally days ago. Would he uproot a young family to leave for a premier league side, that may soon be relegated, to almost certainly being loaned out again to the championship. I think not. He would probably jump at the chance to play prem footie
Dan Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 What on earth has Schlupp done to earn a move to a team in a higher league?
Leicesterpool Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 What on earth has Schlupp done to earn a move to a team in a higher league? Agree, the lads got potential but I don't think I've seen enough yet to convince me he's a premier league player! Are things that bad at Fulham?!
Babylon Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Schlupp has had a kid literally days ago. Would he uproot a young family to leave for a premier league side, that may soon be relegated, to almost certainly being loaned out again to the championship. I think not. Yes he would... he doesn't even make the bench here!!! Won't be surprised if Redknapp has going something to do with this, like he did with Kevin Phillips stuff. Going around telling the press about other teams transfer plans or making up some. Was just about to say exactly the same thing, feels like a blatant attempt to disrupt us at the minute.
Babylon Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 he isn't the answer to Fulham's problems. Not quite sure what they hell they are doing, have they even watched our games?
21st Century Fox Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Was Meulensteen still at United when Schlupp had his training period there? That could explain his interest.
Simonb Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 he'll be offered a big long term contract in the summer this will happen all month, we're top of the league with the majority of the squad playing brilliantly so the rumours will all be about our players leaving... I doubt there's much in any of it on the players side, However,, if the worst was to happen and players began leaving, they wouldn't be allowed to go unless Pearson was 100% happy he had a like for like replacement ready to go
