What will this season be remembered for?

More than individual moments, it'd have to be the complete u-turn in form of Jamie Vardy and the way the squad as a collective bounced back from that horrible day in May.

The superior squads of Watford and Nottingham Forest languishing 29 and 19 points behind us respectively.

There really are so many things that we can look back on fondly. Many of them have been covered. Knockaert's goal vs Watford really sticks out in my mind after the despair at the end of last season (yes I know it was a dive anyway but it still hurt). Seeing Watford really giving it the big'un before the game really made the goal and the overall performance itself all the more satisfying. Went absolutely mental at Drinky's equaliser this season too. Seeing that nestle in the top corner. Wow.

Beating Fulham 4-3 in the last minute after they've had a couple of last minute winners against us over the years too was brilliant.

If we can get promoted at Reading away that really would be the cherry on the icing on the cake on a personal note this season. I'm so grateful to Nigel Pearson, his backroom staff and the extremely hardworking team that he's assembled over the years. It's really paying off now.

My highlight games this season;

Middlesbrough away; At half time, me and my mate were just talking and thinking... what the absolute hell has happened to us. There's nothing from the players, there's nothing from the fans, this is total shit and we're half way through the opening game. Only at full time to leave the game full of optimism - and the fact really, we haven't looked back.

Birmingham home; The first of many two goal turnarounds, this one coming with late Vardy & King goals before we add a third, and even they add a second.

Blackpool away; Absolute carnage when our second went in.

Fulham home; Fantastic game full of highs and lows, with the perfect ending, into the quarters of the League Cup.

Watford away; Still annoys me now that this was one of the very few games I had to miss, but we couldn't have hit them back in any sweeter way.

Millwall home; Genuinely started to believe we were going up, absolute 90 minute domination.

QPR away; Their first home defeat of the season, and the best possible bounce back from a poor run.

Bolton home; Amazing game.

Derby home; Best performance I have ever seen from a Leicester side, now convinced we're going up.

Forest away; Nicking a draw against all the odds.

Charlton home; First day of a potentially quality singing section, only time will tell. An excellent performance and result to go with it.

The best thing is I'm pretty convinced we can add a few more into that.

All the standing ovations

I've noticed this. When was the last time we had a sub at home that didn't lead to a standing ovation?

For the first time in my short City supporting life (since 2005-06) I can actually state being a Leicester fan without getting jeered at by the plastic mancs at school.

Someone's said it before but there was a real poetic beauty with that squirrell at QPR.

It was a fairly tight game but they were looking far more likely than us to score (including having a corner when the game was stopped). On comes this squirrell of the exact colouring of our kit, stops the game for a few minutes and in many ways disrupts their momentum. It leaves, we score, win the game and go on a record-breaking run of consecutive wins...

I think I'll remember it for Jamie Vardy coming out of nowhere to be one of the great success stories in many a year. Almost nobody expected anything of him but he's improved a frightening amount. I'd go as far as to say we wouldn't be going up without him. I think in years to come he'll be the iconic character of this season.

WHEN we do go up though, that will be the moment everyone thinks of when they think '2013-14'. Hopefully that will be sealing it at home against QPR with thousands of City fans invading the pitch jubilantly to celebrate the end of our 10 year exile from the top flight. That would be an iconic moment.

All these comments, and nobody has thanked Nugent for the penalties he has scored.

He has won us a lot of points this season, purely because of his match winning penalties.

You fans are a disgrace

Thank you David

Wycombe away, was only my third away game and I went absolutely mental when SSL nodded a last minute winner.

Ipswich away, we looked second best and looking likely to lose, half time comes and we completely dominate them and then win 2-1.
