brisfox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 This has been the best season in living memory. Apart from special goals, what has been the highlight ? Here are just a few Nugent chasing. Squirrel at QPR Nugget playing keepy uppy at Burnley in the dugout The goal celebration against Yeovil at home The fans at Burnley The home fans clapping us after the Burnley game The applause the owners got Not forgetting the unforgettable Anderlecht fans!
FoxesAreBlue Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 The smashing of the Rams. That was the point I started to believe.
Langston Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Knockaert's goal at Watford for me. This'd be mine, too. I've never, ever wanted a player to score so much. That whole game felt so, so sweet and was (along with QPR away) an encapsulation of what this side is about.
Captain... Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Fans with the torch on their phones out on Boxing Day during a floodlight failure, some of them were holding their lights pretty high.
VinceNoir Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Derby. That night made me realise how good we actually are this season. I got really pissed during and after the game and rang to my girlfriend rambling on about how fvcking great this team is
Dan Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 The 0-0 draw at home to Leeds. Truly the most gripping exhibition I have ever seen. Memorable and I'm sure they'll see sense and release it on DVD soon.
Fox92 Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 The second half at Middlesbrough... A poor first half that turned into sheer domination, and we saw the team we could be.
Uncle Monty Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Derby. That night made me realise how good we actually are this season. I got really pissed during and after the game and rang to my girlfriend rambling on about how fvcking great this team is Haha, nothing better than a drunken phone call explaining how good a team Leicester are to someone who doesn't care. I find myself doing it all the time! Cool profile pick, 'I know how to mix my inhalants!'
Harry - LCFC Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Wood's goal against Burnley. That did it for me.
whoareyaaa Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Wood's goal against Burnley. That did it for me. I would have to say this as well, its actually confirmed us promotion albeit not mathematically.
Babylon Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Knockaert at Watford. Drinkwater against Watford. Wood against Burnley. Kaspers Header. Bolton game was crazy. But I think the feeling after the Derby home game was amazing, nothing has come close to how proud I felt walking out of the ground then and how buzzing everyone was in the pub after.
Itsthejoeker Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 The 0-0 draw at home to Leeds. Truly the most gripping exhibition I have ever seen. Memorable and I'm sure they'll see sense and release it on DVD soon. That was the first game I took my Mrs too! Struggling to persuade her to come again
CosbehFox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 So many. The total apathy walking around Boro before the opening game and being flat for a season opener. It wasn't much better at half time before a great second half performance. Knockaert gains revenge. The game against Fulham where squad players stood out and at 3-3, we stuck three players on. Then a goal, good occasion to realise we are a good side. Singing the Christmas song post QPR. Barmy game against Bolton finished by the intelligent GTF. The grit of a squad win at the Den. The destruction of Derby. That was special. An attacking assault. Going nuts at home when Nuge popped up at Leeds. Drinky' equaliser against Watford. Being covered in sugar puffs at Bournemouth when Super Kev pounced. Sat alone going nuts at Mahrez's goal against Forest and the subsequent Billy breakdown. The whole day on Saturday. What an awayday. The whole end was up for it. Morning start, big occasion and what a win.
Jonezy Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Nuge's late fluke at Leeds also was one of those that make me believe...
lestajigs Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Wood's goal against Burnley. That did it for me. +1
Kitchandro Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Kasper the other night. Open mouth moment from about 26,000 people when the ball came across and we saw he was going to get on the end of it. The the noise after, and at the end when he was named the scorer by the announcer. Unique moment. The Derby home and both Waford games were also very memorable. And the two thrillers at home - Fulham and Bolton. Brilliant football matches.
Bert Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Watford away for me. Buried the demons of last season, shut their Cuntish fans up and it was brilliant seeing Knockaert score that day. Honourable mentions to Kasper against Yeovil and Wood v Burnley. Came away from the Yeovil game seeing our keeper score (let's face it, bar technicalities, it was his goal) and came away from the Burnley game feeling like we'd just proved ourselves as the best team in the league. Great feelings to go through and be a part of.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Derby at home - I think the best performance I've ever seen from a city side, granted it is championship football but they have a good away record, were in great form and we served them. I had to scrape the flakes off my pants after.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Knockaert's goal at Watford for me. Has to be this! Or Woody's on Saturday
BrummieFOX Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Probably Alan Young's book release. But other than that: Watford away Burnley away Near perfect days out.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Just remembered that I almost caught Knocky's shirt when he threw it into the crowd at Watford, now that would have been the perfect away day.
