For me we were a bit poor, a bit like my farts tonight, but we got the win and that's why we're going up. You don't go 21 games unbeaten without a few close shaves. Whilst we're on the subject has anyone here shaved their arsehole before?

All opinions I guess but we had more shots overall, more shots on target, more corners, a few suspect refereeing decisions, all in all I thought we were very unlucky and deserved more.

 

Nah you did well tonight, I wouldn't say you were entitled to a draw your goal was appalling from our point of view but it would of been hard to complain had you walked away with a draw. Anyone who writes off your performance tonight has the specs on or doesn't know their football.

That was very hard work tonight.

 

Credit to Sheffield Wednesday, I thought they set up well, were willing to get in our faces and frustrate us, something which they did on a number of occasions. 

 

First half was a mixture in my opinion, we got out of the traps well, and could of easily put the game to bed early doors. I thought the centre of midfield was poor though first half, James kept giving the ball away, and kept drifting towards Mahrez, which left space in midfield for Wednesday to try and exploit. Drinkwater was a little better, but gave away a few poor passes, while I thought Knockaert was very frustrating. We really needed to get Mahrez on the ball more first half, he was a constant danger. I thought Nugent played well first half as well, was chasing down everything. 

 

Second half to be honest, I thought we were slightly better in parts, James and Drinkwater seemed to control the game more, Drinkwater especially was excellent second half, in both a defensive and attacking sense. Knockaert was slowly coming into the game, while we were getting Mahrez more on the ball which caused Wednesday endless problems. The problem we had in the second half was in attack, Nugent went really off the boil, as soon as Taylor-Fletcher came on, GTF was absolutely shit tonight. 

 

The last few minutes of course was nail biting stuff, and credit to Kasper again for saving us, and Drinkwater for making a fantastic block at the end. That's where the game was won tonight.

 

Wasn't the best, but We're Leicester City, We're almost Premier League  :P

I quite like Sheff Wed as a club, one of my good mates supports them. I thought you did really well tonight, though not sure how you would of coped if we had Vardy up top.

 

On the showing though, if you can maintain that next season I can definitely see you being in play-offs. Good luck, I genuinely hope to see you after next season in the Premiership.

All about the result really.

Shows what I know having just berated Knockaert for another poor effort on goal and predicted his free kick would end up in row Z he goes and produces a real bit of quality.

Great finish really top drawer. Just shows what I know about football!

Today personified why we will be champions.

Not the best performance but two bits of quality broke a 'good'wedenesday performance?

A bit nervy towards the end as they threw the sink trying to spoil the party ( not yet ?? ...tues)

10 points clear of second now also !

Right as for the game...

Played well for 20 mins and really looked like we were gonna batter them but then we started fading and they looked more dangerous.. Then we had another 5 minute spell but once again faded and they then deservedly equalised through Antonio who was outstanding allnight

We were poor for the first 15 mins in the second half then woke up abit scored a stunning freekick and then looked like possibly adding a 3rd but we once again faded and really started to struggle around the 75 min mark.. They went very direct and give us all kinds of problems but we defended like warriors and battled the game out

They certainly didn't deserve the loss but our battling qualities pleased me alot

Sorry but don't feel sorry for Wednesday one bit. Never forgiven them for April 08 and sending us down to league 1. Without being at our best we always looked the classier side tonight.

Fair play to Wednesday. Gave a very good performance and I couldn't argue if it had been a draw. They are a lot better side then their league position shows. Good to see a team come and attack us and want the win.

As for ourselves. Thought we played well first half and not so good the second.

The French lads did us proud tho and Mahrez is going to be a great player for us.

Another 3 points in the bag and another step closer to the promised land.

It's been far to long out of the prem and so glad to be fanaly back there.

To be on the verge mathematically with 6games left is fantastic,but we prob went up a few games ago ,when its all done and dusted!!the championship as been about ONE team,and ONE team only this season!!!!

My memory of that game was a bus load of Sheff Wed fans leaving the ground each waving a shoe at us. :D

We were the better side in the first half but in the second I think we struggled a bit with Wednesday's aerial assault.  They were playing very direct, winning the majority of balls in the air and being first to the second ball.  I was also impressed with Antonio.  But, we had more quality which was evident mainly in the first half.

No but if he did actually say we were by far the better team that's quite embarrassing unless he gave his interview at half time.
