I honestly don't think this wage cap is true..We simply cant compete in premiership with a 30k a week cap..there will be a clause in the contracts regarding being relegated that their wages will be reduced I bet..That seems more realistic to me.

I'm more worried about squad harmony if someone coming in requires double the salary of the existing players under contract...

Have run it through a few translation tools, looks like the obvious: he prefers us to Hull because of proximity to London.

Who needs London when you have the Haymarket shopping centre

I'd do crystal meth for a whole week if we get Inan in, he's sensational. Zahavi can lob us his son as well whilst he's at it. Both of them with Drinkwater and James would spuff beans all over Leicester.

Do you not think that some players are currently on double the money that some others are earning?

Some will be on a lot more money than others at every prem club, it's just how it is. At Man City you could have players in the first team who earn £100k more a week than others yet they still start in the same team.

I certainly don't expect any of them to be on the reported 65,000 Inan was after.

Got us some pretty good owners though I must say. If we are going to attract top players we will have to work with shitty agents that's just the way of the world..

But you are likely to have a Marco Ferreira or Adda Dzierji come with it. Mandaric is still playing the game judging some of Wednesdays signings.

From Bentleys:

According to buckin google translate it means we tried to 'intimidate' him into taking less money, and the transfer is in jeopardy because of that.

And:

This one is from a Turkish sports daily.
Seems to confirm he ain't coming for thirty grand a week.
Says that 'Leicesters players have agreed a maximum wage of £30,000 a week, and even with the best will that is not possible for Selcuk'.
Either he is deffo not coming or his agent is acting the buck.
And as Oia Zaviani the Israeli 'Super agent' is the one involved I suspect the latter.
He's touching 30 is old Selcuk, and he ain't gonna get 65k anywhere

At 29, he's in the peak of his powers. For a proven Champ League/ International player I say pay him his £40K a week and get him in !

I can't pretend to know much about this guy but from what I've read, he sounds like the kind of ambitious signing that could make the difference. Pay him what he wants, if we've got it and the staff believe in him.

As shit as ever.

That goal around 1:45 is class. Any forward would be proud of that and this bloke's a holding midfielder.

Pay the money and sign him up. He's quite clearly a quality player and if we go down he'll have resale value anyway. Can't imagine many players being disgruntled if this lads paid more than them
