He's getting unsettled!

Brighton striker Leo Ulloa has set his heart on a move to the Premier League.

Top flight new-boys Leicester have seen a £7million bid for the Argentine rejected out of hand.

New Seagulls boss Sami Hyypia has also insisted he wants to keep the 27-year-old, who has scored 26 goals in 58 appearances since joining Brighton in January last year.

Ulloa has told friends he wants the chance to prove himself on the big stage but has not yet spoken to Hyypia

They were always said to have sources within The City heirarchy when Mandaric was here but now who knows? The report seems to be coming from the Brighton end though.

ln the same article , can't see Nugent wanting to go Boro ?

I wouldn't have thought so if there's truth in the rumour of the other linked clubs. I'm very surprised if we really have only offered him a one year contract, particularly as Lloyd was supposedly offered two years and turned it down.

Dyer was offered a 1 year deal. I thought Nugent was offered a 2 year contract?

I've no idea if this is accurate but here's the rumour about the Nugent contract offer..

I was under the impression that the whole deal with Dyer was that he was offered a two year deal but he wanted three, however I see the BBC article says you're right.

first4lcfc = first for making stuff up to attract footfall to a website with more adverts than an East London phone booth.

To be fair the players probably still away with his family it's when he starts back training he'll start to think about it. I mean come on you wouldn't want to play in the premier league!

They don't have the biggest rugby union side in the country five minutes down the road that drags in 20,000 though....

Until this new stadium they struggled to fill an old athletics stadium.

Interesting because I used to steward at Withdean and seem to recall everyone looking forward to the AMEX because there'd finally be space to match the demand for seats. But you probably know more about it than I do.

If he's happy to stay at Brighton, he's not going to come out and say anything to the contrary in case he doesn't leave, as that could put a strain on any relationship he has with the club unnecessarily.

Once a bid has been accepted he may consider a move and be keen on signing, but at the minute Brighton are yet to accept anything we've offered so he has no reason to show interest in anywhere else.

Pretty much this , how has this thread turned into a "Tin Pot" battle?

because, regardless of what we really think, that's how football forums work and it keeps us all entertained?

According to those stats, he's shit in comparison to what we already have.

I don't think he is tbh I think for that kinda money we could get a lot better

but you look at the important stats v nugent, 14 goals, 4 assists and 40 key passes against 20 goals , 12 assists and 72 key passes. And we're thinking of letting nugent go and have this guy as a possible replacement for 10 million quid + probably 45 grand a week. That's just daft.
