davieG Posted 26 October 2014 Author Posted 26 October 2014 Increases the pressure to get points from the next game. With burnley at arsenal, qpr at chelsea and newcastle home to liverpool
Harry - LCFC Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 Concerned is the word i'd use. Fair enough, I respect that. It's the posters switching to 'meltdown mode' who I'm challenging I suppose.
lgfualol Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 Next week is fookin massive! Said that the last few weeks. The fans realise it but do the players..
MC Prussian Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 Next week is fookin massive! Every week in the Premier League is massive. Unfortunately, not all of our players have realized that yet.
RowlattsFox Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 I reckon burnley wil equalise here. They've been shite but Everton are sitting back and more interested in time wasting.
ealingfox Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 Bad news for Everton - Marvin Sordell coming on.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 No real quality up front for Burnley like us yesterday
ealingfox Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 Turf Moor has all the atmosphere of a morgue.
johnny the fox Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 "Yes we are shite but we are shite on a budget, I intend to take us down frugally" quote. Sean Dyche..
HitchinFox Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 I know we've been shit over the last four games - but at least we're not Burnley. They keep this up and bookies might as well start paying out on them getting relegated.
Stevosevic Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 Must win next week - this rot needs to stop pronto.
ealingfox Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 People realise that finishing 17th means you stay up right?
Babylon Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 Every week in the Premier League is massive. Unfortunately, not all of our players have realized that yet. I'm sure the players realise it, the facts are we are up against much better players a lot of the time. Hahaha 17th!!!!! Load of wankI think perhaps it was your expectations that were a load of wank.
Matt Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 People saying Burnley are shit...did they watch our game yesterday or have they not seen any of our last 4 games, they were better today than we have been in the last 4, ultimately they got the same results but they didn't play are dire as we have, that counts for nothing I know but its abit of encouragment rather than playing shit and losing.

I think perhaps it was your expectations that were a load of wank. You cant blame anyone for thinking we would get more than 1 point from our last four games though.
bovril Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 God there is some crap in the Premier League this year... thankfully for us. Next two home games are must win, unfortunately.
Corky Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 God there is some crap in the Premier League this year... thankfully for us. Next two home games are must win, unfortunately. But we are even worse than that. Inb4matt.
Stevosevic Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 I think the knock on effect of not winning Saturday would be huge.
Matt Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 But we are even worse than that. Inb4matt. It remains to be seen. Meet back here in 3 weeks time yeah? Hopefully alot happier.
bovril Posted 26 October 2014 Posted 26 October 2014 But we are even worse than that. Inb4matt. We have a better team than the other two promoted clubs - we know that from last season. Whether that means we'll finish above them or not, who knows. Sunderland are god-awful but usually seem to stay up. Newcastle should stay up, ditto WBA who play decent football. I think it could be Palace we are scrapping with.

I can accept people being annoyed at recent results and performances but there is a feeling that we are doomed in October when we are still clear of the bottom two currently. Stoke had a brilliant season last year, plenty of plaudits for their style and getting results as well. Anyone know or remember that they were 17th in February?
