AKCJ Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 He came from Inter Milan As part of the master plan With Drinkwater and James and Cambiasso Oh Cambiasso Oh Cambiasso Oh Cambiassoo-oo-oo With them in midfield, we'll take the points home.

Joeb.lcfc Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 This is how it feels to be Derby This is how it feels to be small You sign George Thorne we sign Cambiasso.... This is brilliant!
Weller in Tights Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 FVCKING SIGN ALREADY YOU BASTARDIn my hotel in Amsterdam watching Dutch Sports news. And what comes up?Leicester City signing Cambiasso. Proves nothing, but tops off a great night in Amsterdam with the Mrs.
Mike Oxlong Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Re today's events it's about time we had a grade A flounce. Oh yeah, who is this Cambassio.
CosbehFox Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 As hyped as I am that this looks like it's happening I'm haunted by the similar signing of Mancini years back. He was shite! He played 3 games in a team which were beginning to crumble. He was excellent on debut versus Arsenal.
Jakemoore Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Signing cambiasso would make us more appealing to other potential signings too IMO. I've no idea how many declines we've had, if any, but they'll be players out there wanting to learn from someone of cambiasso's ability.
Master Fox Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Oooh Ooh ooh Oh Cambiassoo-oo-oo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4J1dTpEZmVY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gwYgcwh15o
placidcasual Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 How many other ex-Real Madrid players have we had? Laurie Cunningham. Dammit. Beaten to it.

Hack Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 He's 34, I'm not sure at that age he'll be expecting to start every week. Chances are he'd start against all the big teams anyway and gets a rest against West Brom etc. Not that I think it'll happen How old is Steve Gerard? 35/36? He plays every game. He has changed roles in the last couple of years to be a playmaking holding midfielder. Exactly the role we would look for from Cambiasso. Speed is not the biggest asset needed from this type of player. Positioning, strength, fitness and football brains is the key for a player like this. Could you imagine this forum if we were linked to Steve Gerard? i am sure you would get lots saying he is to old, no pass bla bla bla. Cambiasso played most of the games in Italy last year a very physical league. Another thing to consider is he has never missed many games due to injury or lack of fitness in his career.
BrummieFOX Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 This'd be surreal. On MOTD... "Cambiasso...brings the ball out of defence and finds Gary Taylor-Fletcher on the wing yet again. What a partnership these two have struck this season."
PAULCFC Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 This'd be surreal. On MOTD... "Cambiasso...brings the ball out of defence and finds Gary Taylor-Fletcher on the wing yet again. What a partnership these two have struck this season." Don't know how to do rep points.....but that made me laugh
