docho66 Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 What the hell? This is what you get when too many people want their say in transfer matters! Palace may live to regret this!
Stadt Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 I can't see anybody else getting that much out of a distinctly average bunch of players. Who plays left back for them?
Vacamion Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Who is next up there? Good job for Mr Moyes, maybe??
Webbo Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Another team that will finish below us now. All good news.
Bugg Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Probably quit due to not being allowed to spend £20m+ a season on absolute shit like he did at Stoke.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Never would have gone down with him. Precarious they look now
PAULCFC Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Never would have gone down with him. Precarious they look now Yoda?
Mark_w Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Probably quit due to not being allowed to spend £20m+ a season on absolute shit like he did at Stoke. If I was the chairman of a club like Palace, I'd let him spend £20m+ on shit, because as long as he stays he as good as guarantees three times that every season.
Asha Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Or maybe it's the first time he's thought 'shit... my squad is a lot of wank' and walked to keep his 'no relegations' reputation intact.
Leicesterpool Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Just two days before the season is due to begin! This is certainly go to be a hard season for them next. So what for them next? Neil Lennon perhaps...
AjcW Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 This Iain Moody seems to surround himself with controversy doesn't he!
DennisNedry Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Quick, everybody put money on them to go down!
Guesty Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Isn't Ian Moody the bloke who was with Malky McKay at Cardiff? If so, I imagine he'll be the new manager (unless he's got another job somewhere else and I missed it). You'd have thought they'd have talked about things like transfer budgets, etc, before at the start of summer - not 2 days before the first game of the season. Very strange. And like someone else said: Pulis might not be great at spending money, but there's a good chance he'll keep you up - even if he does buy garbage.
Leicesterpool Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Pulis hasn't got a bad premier league record, wonder how long someone like West Brom will give Alan Irvine knowing Pulis is available.
Big_Nige Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Pleased about this. Under Pulis I thought they'd be fine. Finish 13th or so and never really be in any trouble. Now I can see them really struggling.
