sphericalfox Posted 25 August 2014 Share Posted 25 August 2014 Still not signed a new contract? Has been asked to play for a new one, hence a new and improved Kingy, or is he holding out to see where we are at the end of the season?
LanguedocFox Posted 25 August 2014 Share Posted 25 August 2014 This came up: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12040/9440473 We can't let him go: when James was injured, he fitted in perfectly alongside Drinkwater and then Hammond, and had a shout to be MotM against Everton. Sign him on a four-year contract like Vardy: no argument.
Corky Posted 26 August 2014 Share Posted 26 August 2014 Leicester City @OfficialFOXES STATS: No #lcfc player has completed more passes in our first 2 games this season than @10_kingy (70). He gets the ball, he keeps the ball.
foxfanazer Posted 1 September 2014 Share Posted 1 September 2014 3 games against tough opposition and Kingy doesn't look out of place at all. Maybe not as involved in an attacking sense yesterday as we seemed to bypass the midfield a bit with fast counter attacks. He still battled and at least matched some very talented players yesterday. Always liked King but had my doubts that he could make the step up, feels like a new signing
ScouseFox Posted 1 September 2014 Author Share Posted 1 September 2014 Think kingy was the main reason nobody even noticed the worlds best player ever Aaron Ramsey was on the pitch.
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 September 2014 Share Posted 1 September 2014 Think kingy was the main reason nobody even noticed the worlds best player ever Aaron Ramsey was on the pitch. Oh I noticed him, he had a shocker. (more down to his own ineptitude than anything Andy King did) Although King did have another good game yesterday. cadno Posted 4 October 2014 Share Posted 4 October 2014 Hi, I'm a Welsh fan and was wondering why Andy King has been sitting on the bench in recent games, I thought he had a good start to the season? Also, what's he like defensively?
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 6 October 2014 Share Posted 6 October 2014 Not bothered watching him in any of his 26 senior Wales games? He's played well so far this season. We have a very competitive central midfield, 5 players vying for what was 2 places against Burnley, including our current player of the year, young player of the year and Cambiasso. RedSoxUK Posted 18 April 2015 Share Posted 18 April 2015 Right place at the right time again, he just always seems to be there when we need him to be. As for his performance pre-the goal, top class - showed why he should be in the team and why James should've been left out, completely justified. Also thought Drinkwater was very very solid when he came on as the extra man in midfield, some great movement and passing which made him look like the player he was last season - think his good performances with the U21s has merited a few appearances for us from the bench. fuchsntf Posted 18 April 2015 Share Posted 18 April 2015 In this era King is LCFC, like all city players he had a dismal time late autumn and winter. But over the season, hes outplayed James and Drinkwater, would still love these 3 click in a commanding foxes midfield.
