LCCFox96 Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Good potential signing in McArthur. Like people have said I was impressed when I've seen him play too. At 26 he's about to hit his prime as well. Hopefully he'll add a bit of steel to our midfield. Bottom line is it's just nice to see some activity and some bodies coming in now. Just seen Geoff's new tweet - WTF is going on atm! It makes my head hurt!
Fox42 Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Sky Sports: Leicester agree fee with Wigan for James McArthur
Danno Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 In fairness that bid for McArthur could just be an attempt to hurry the Cambiasso deal.
ARTY_FOX Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 GeoffPetersTalkSPORT @talkSPORTgeoff 23s #LCFC have NOT had a bid for James McArthur accepted by Wigan, contrary to reports. Cambiasso looking positive, unlikely to sign both. My heads gonna explode. It's saying we have on breaking news on sky sports.
Adster Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 John Percy vs Geoff Peters. But who's the most truthful? There's only one way to find out....
The whole world smiles Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 No. Owen Hargreaves played for England more times than Matt Le Tissier. Owen Hargreaves was a much better play than Le Tissier in my humble opinion just had too many horrible injuries.
georgec Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 One of the few players in the championship who is a premier leave player. Will be great to have in the midfield when we need to play 5 (against the big teams) . James Drinkwater McArthur. Now the question is.. Do we actually need Cambiasso? I think he was just used as a smokescreen to distract people from this. Cambiasso a smokescreen!? Please explain that to me.
Brooksy Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Interesting that John Percy said he was having a medical later today. **** it, I don't know who to believe anymore
MHC Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 GeoffPetersTalkSPORT @talkSPORTgeoff 23s #LCFC have NOT had a bid for James McArthur accepted by Wigan, contrary to reports. Cambiasso looking positive, unlikely to sign both. My heads gonna explode. We need two central midfielders so we have the numbers to play three in the middle. For goodness sake if we can only sign one because of Pearson's stubbornness get McArthur and tell Cambiasso he had his chance a fortnight ago, signing McArthur and another one would be ideal to me.
kingfox Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Jason Bourne @JasonBourne1986 52s Dave Whelan confirms to BBC Radio Leicester that Wigan have accepted a bid from #lcfc for James McArthur.
Corky Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Anyone going to ring Jim White's GoalLine to see what's going on?
MHC Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 It's saying we have on breaking news on sky sports. I'd take sky sports word over this guy every day of the week.
Soar Fox Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Ha ha so really nobody knows anything. I'm more inclined to believe that we'll sign McArthur than Cambiasso though.
Max Power Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 The guy on sky sports saying we had a 5m bid rejected and it's believed the offer accepted is an improvement on that.....jeeeeez who would have guessed Love this. Do you reckon his SKY SOURCES told him that.
Adster Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Just had it confirmed Deal Done! Same. 5 medicals scheduled for tomorrow.
qwerty123 Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Very good addition to the squad - has been monitored by Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd over the last 12 months Genuine competition in Central Midfield now
