Stadt Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 I hate the hype about Sky Sports deadline day, I hate how the window always SLAMS shut, I hate Jim White's booming voice, I hate seeing absolute goons standing around an unlucky presenter outside a stadium and I hate seeing the wheela-fackin-deala hanging out of his car window telling us that he doesn't deal with transfers for the 232nd time this window. I quite like Natalie Sawyer though.

Raw Dykes Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 Simpson today/tommorrow plus one permanent before Monday evening... Still think though that we MIGHT get another one or two, maybe on loan! The loan window is the same as the normal transfer window in the PL. I don't think we'll be getting any loans. I think NP has said as much. I reckon we'll get Simpson and N'Doye/McGoldrick/Some other striker.

I Mean this in a nice way about pearson but I wouldn't trust what he says about transfers.... at first he said " one or two" transfers... we have cambiasso, looks like simpson as you said and then we have the striker looking likely and I wouldn't be surprised if we had another midfielder if Hammond or GTF are off....King is in the last year of his contract too and I don't see him any nearer to signing and I HOPE he doesn't want to leave.... But if any of those three midfielders leave I would expect us to get another in

Still think we need another defender though as well as Simpson, someone who can play CB & LB, if not just a LB can't see Konchesky being consistently good enough until January. A loan wouldn't go a miss in an attacking sense, someone like Gnabry, Powell or Barnetta.

I'm hoping for two to three more signings, as we are little short on cover. Simpson, would be a very good signing, and a couple of Premiership players on loan. What will be, will be. Now let us pray.
