wakeyfox01 Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Nice defensive work rate from Sterling there.
Matt Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Awwwww! I was banking on Chelsea Dagger playing if the Jocks scored
EastNeukFox Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Cracking goal. That should liven up the next 10 mins or so! ....or maybe not!
Vacamion Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 World class passing there. If Brazil did that they'd be spunking...
steveherbe Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Lovin this. England look good, then again, it is only Scotland. England fans are class, all the Scots do is boo - are they City fans?
Narborough_fox Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Robertson's goal was good. Rooney's goal was outstanding.
Unabomber Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 just at the scotch booing absolutely hilarious and pathetic in equal measures.
Webbo Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Alex Salmon, Sean Connery, Wee Jimmy Kranky can you hear me? Grounds keeper Willie ,Large Al. Your boys took one hell of a beating.
The Doctor Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 This must be a nightmare for Scotland fans, imagine convincing yourselves for a year that you've actually turned good and in some cases say you're better than England then have to watch yourselves get shown up to this extent. As for the famous Celtic Park atmosphere - lol Barely heard the Jocks unless they have been booing. Eh, running Germany close and sitting in the qualification spots at the halfway stage of a qualifying group suggests we have turned a corner. Johnny Russell looked pretty good in his cameo, would definitely have him off derby in jan.
Matt Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Why couldn't they have voted yes. We don't like them, they don't like us despite a large percentage living down here, just fook off and be done with it. Alex Salmon, Sean Connery, Wee Jimmy Kranky can you hear me? Grounds keeper Willie ,Large Al. Your boys took one hell of a beating. Andy Murray, don't forget that ****.
steveherbe Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Thats how to play the diamond. Pace, power, hunt in packs, bloody excellent. First time I've been excited by an England game in years. We did play the diamond didnt we?
Leicesterpool Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 It was much more of an comfortable performance than I had expected. The scoreline flatters Scotland, it was just jammy of them the only dangerous chance they had they scored with. For us a major disappointment that we conceded otherwise it would have been an 100% professional performance for me, other than that there are alot of positives from us and yeah okay we were only up against Scotland, but I was impressed with how for most of the game we kept the ball and frustrated Scotland as much as possible. I would have thought they would have been hugely disappointed with there performance, they played quite deep and seem to fear us too much. Oh and what goal by Rooney, just can't go on without mentioning that.
RowlattsFox Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 All we've done is raise expectations which will inevitably be dampened again at some point. Good performance but Scotland were shite, they even made Smalling look half decent. Milner is suited to the diamond, welbeck and Rooney are better without Sturridge.

Johnny Russell looked pretty good in his cameo, would definitely have him off derby in jan. If you want a wager on how close you'll be to Germany at the end let me know and we'll work out a handicap. I had to put up with Scots telling me at the weekend they are now better than England and it's so ridiculous to have to listen to, I know we're miles away from the top sides but we're still a mile away from Scotland as well in terms of quality. That was embarrassing, outplayed on the pitch and outsang off it.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 We were on a different level to them there. Fans likewise. Quite enjoyed watching England for a change, the pace and pressing was unbelievable, I just hope Nige was watching that.
Tielemans63 Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Great performance tonight although it was against a team who are essentially a rubbish version of England so I'm not going OTT.
