Babylon Posted 8 January 2015 Share Posted 8 January 2015 Please take him back. we'll even pay his wages, just get the poisonous whinger out of the dressing room. Very strange, the bloke was never ever like that here. Perhaps there is something else going on behind the scenes (the fact you've had more managers than hot dinners does nothing to dispel that). Super_horns Posted 8 January 2015 Share Posted 8 January 2015 Been transfer listed. Waste of a signing for us and clearly a bad move for him. Falling out in such a public way with 2 managers has hardly helped his cause. Think Dyer expected to start and didn't so started to throw his toys out of the pram. An Away Move Posted 8 January 2015 Share Posted 8 January 2015 Quote from a Watford fan on Twitter, 'I was buzzing when we signed Dyer, turns out he is shit'. Ouch!
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 8 January 2015 Share Posted 8 January 2015 The 3 year deal was obviously tempting him this late on in his career but I thought from the off it was a strange move. Watford are renowned for playing 5-3-2 with attacking wing backs. Did he really think they would change their system to suit him in a 4-4-2? No way is he good enough to play the left wing back role. 6ups 6downs 2 cups Posted 8 January 2015 Share Posted 8 January 2015 You could have a whole thread on players you have seen signed who you thought were good but ended up being shite! Remember how Pleat turned swindon goal machine Jimmy Quinn into shite within the space of a few months at Filbo.
ScouseFox Posted 8 January 2015 Share Posted 8 January 2015 mad that he's fallen out with managers. when he was here sven almost disowned him and he didn't have a bad word to say anywhere, just carried on training, refused a loan and ended up back in the team. in fact, since he left i've seen more interviews/comments from him than i did in the 6 years he was here. Guest MattP Posted 8 January 2015 Share Posted 8 January 2015 He only went to Watford for a pension anyway. He can put his feet up now and claim his 15k a week for three years. Shrewd stuff Watford, shrewd.
ousefox Posted 8 January 2015 Share Posted 8 January 2015 Has to be worth taking on loan for a month at least while we are short.
peterborofox Posted 8 January 2015 Share Posted 8 January 2015 Defo worth taking until the end of the season. Even as a squad player, just his commitment and energy wouldn't do any harm.
hackneyfox Posted 8 January 2015 Share Posted 8 January 2015 We have Albrighton and Lawrence, Schlupp wil miraculously recover by next weekend. Dyer was always crap in the second half of the season, can't imagine how appalling he would be at this level, defended are generally quicker and definitely smarter. sylofox Posted 8 January 2015 Share Posted 8 January 2015 Has to be worth taking on loan for a month at least while we are short. Not really he has not player for 6 to 8 weeks so will not be match fit. So would take a month to get match fit.
