StarFox Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 We need to be adding plenty of pace into our side, not taking it away. Pulis used the strength of Crystal Palace's raw pace in the team last season to help keep them up.
Asha Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Yep, definitely sell if there's a genuine £5m offer.
SlaneyLCFC Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Would rather we keep him tbh. Think it's pretty clear wood will end up going but vardy as well, no ta.
Richard Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Hold out for 6/7 mil. We hold the cards here, no need to sell. If Ulloa can fetch £8m vardy can't be too far behind
cc_star Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 No, need to see where we are at end of season and he's more than an able squad player until then. He's not up to Premier League ability at the moment, but he wasn't up to Championship ability for quite some time And we all know how that turned out
Happy Fox Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Take the money and run he is a very good championship striker he may well adapt at this level in time, but if we are replacing him with Okazaki its a no brainer who the better player is.
Tuna Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 How many goals has Vardy scored since the Man United game? How many goals has Vardy scored since the Man United game?
Richmondfox Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 No chance, he is Nigel's boy. We need to keep incase we go down. There are less useful players taking wages at the club.
Bettsj2 Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 £5m? That is absolutely ridiculous. If that is genuine then its no choice at all.
Soar Fox Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Sell. Not worth anywhere near £5 million pounds. He doesn't even look very effective in games anymore.
ADK Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 In other news WBA try to unsettle relegation rivals striker by starting rumour of transfer interest.
Soar Fox Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 In other news WBA try to unsettle relegation rivals striker by starting rumour of transfer interest. Hardly unsettling, it's not like he's our best striker.
MGLCFC Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 From what I saw today £500000 would be a bonus. Vardy is not a Premier League striker. He runs around a lot, but ultimately his first touch is poor. If someone is prepared to pay £5 mil I'd snap their hands off.
StanSP Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 If £5m is their first offer, let's reject it and see what else they'll offer. As that is the offer, its win-win for us - get a hefty profit on a player if £5m is the minimum or keep him and he can carry on being a nuisance. We don't have to sell.
Guest Lcfc82 Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Not a chance we will sell to a relegation rival for that money. Worth at about 10 million in current market
Libertine Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 No sell. Don't need the money. Needs to regain his confidence and he'll be useful.
ADK Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Hardly unsettling, it's not like he's our best striker. He's worth more than £5M in a January transfer window to a major rival for sure. And it does potentially unsettle a player. We've just signed a striker. Therefore there's already a danger of our strikers being unsettled.
Vindaloo FOX Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 He may work hard for the team but we need goals , thanks for last season but if this is true then let him go .
Larry_LCFC Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Vardy is our pace. We had none on the field until he came on today. When he is in form, hes lethal. Would be extremely disappointed to see him go.
Strokes Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 If it helps make other deals happen then it's not a bad price. Vardy is better than he has performed so far but his confidence is fragile, we need better. DEAL
Soar Fox Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Not a chance we will sell to a relegation rival for that money. Worth at about 10 million in current market £10 million lol We've just paid less than that for a Croatian international who's scored 7 goals in the Europa league this season.
5waller5 Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 I'm shocked by the amount of people that would sell him!!! I'd keep him. Brilliant pace threat to bring on from the bench and worry the life out of defenders. If we are leading then he really stops the opposition from pushing defenders up.
