Leicester Lass

Vardy a wanted man.

One issue that's not been mentioned is the squad size. Getting in Kramaric and possibly Okazaki and Corluka (never mind Defoe) would mean someone had to go because of the limit (26 players?)

I still don't want him to go.

Keep. We don't need to sell, we might be Champ next season. And if we stay up, I reckon he'll improve much like he did in his second season - it's bound to take a bit of time to adjust and don't forget it wasn't long ago since he was non-league. Showed what he is capable of versus Man Utd - we would have lost that game without him

Dont sell to a rival at any price no other club down the bottom would but can see us selling him and Vardy scoring plenty for wba and it sending us down.

Simple, drop Zoumana Bakayogo, Conrad Logan, Gary Taylor-Fletcher from the squad and sell/loan out Chris Wood - four spaces available!

Although poor at the moment I truly believe JV is one goal away from form. Who knows perhaps the fact that Pulis is alleged to believe he is worth £5 mill might give him that little boost of confidence he needs.

strange offer, man utd aside he's looked out of his depth. Having said that, he did the same first season in the championship then really came good once settled...

I think we should sell for that price but then again these two comments sum up the problem.

It's weird to think of it this way but he was probably worth more as a Championship player. Before the season started there was talk of £15m interest from Southampton and people saying we shouldn't sell. It just goes to show how player values get massively overinflated from a good Championship season!

This the same Vardy who after manu game was the next big thing for England and folk on here were distraught that he was not called up to the england squad.

£5million sounds a lot but I'm not sure it is a lot these days. I like Vardy, his attitude and willingness to close opposition players down but he does lack that finishing part of his game. He's had chances in many games this season that he should have taken. I think £5million is worth considering if we have a good replacement in mind.

Once again a lot of people writing him off, just like you did in his first season here.

He's been poor for quite a few games now, but I think it's a confidence thing. Still think he can do it at this level

Whatever we fans think about him, if Nige gets his two striker targets, Vards is going to become our fifth choice striker.

If we could sell our fifth choice player in any position for £5M+ we surely would?

Might do better with a player exchange eg Olsson and/or Morrison plus cash...

Im one of vardys biggest fans but he seems the have fallen down the pecking order , I think we should try and hold out for more seeing as were not in a position where we have to sell , if we do sell I hope we invest the whole of the money we get for him in a LB or CB .

Makes me laugh when people say we don't need the money, as if £5million is loose change.

Also Vardy has a say in this too. More first team football, probably a pay rise and a nice signing on fee.

Love Vardy but not sure he's adjusted to the prem yet. £5m would be great business considering what we paid and his age. If we went down though we'd need him.

Would be sad to see him go, but think we'd have to take £5m. Would certainly be a statement that we can buy players, provide them with first team football whilst developing them before selling them on for a big profit. Can't remember the last time we did that.

It's a shame that he has lost a bit of confidence - I think if he'd have scored at Palace away on the back of the United game we would have seen an entirely different player over the last few months. He's still vital to the way we play but if it can fund the Okazaki deal I'm all for it 'cos he will work equally as hard, I'm sure.
