North East Fox Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 For me in a nutshell we can't wait /aren't good enough to wait for a player who might be quite good 1 day. Kram has had chances and he hasn't been unlucky - he just hasn't taken them. I'm not writing him off as along with everyone I want him to shine but he's just been bought at the wrong time. We've totally changed our game from the start of 2015 and it's something Kram will never fit in to. We need to move him on and also move on ourselves (fans I mean)
MooseBreath Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 could he have done much less in the 7 or 8 games Okazaki has had? Yes, much less. You're not alone in failing to appreciate the work Okazaki does, but you are in a minority. Check out the Okazaki thread if you have anything meaningful to add. Can't be bothered to discuss him again here.
shade Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 what's he done his performance against Arsenal last season and the run, admittedly followed by a crap chip, this season would be enough for me to play him over Okazaki. in fact apart from that run when he played alone up front in a team that created literally NOTHING, he's looked far more likely to score, to me, than Okazaki.
Sampson Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 He looked superb against West Ham last season. Turned Carl Jenkinson inside out.
ScouseFox Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 so he missed a one on one that cost us a point 9 months ago? is that all you've got? and you wonder why he isn't playing?!
Kitchandro Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 II'll accept that Kramaric hasn't done enough but for people to then imply Okazaki has been a key part of our success is just silly. The first couple of games he was brilliant, but he's dropped off a cliff since then and has rightly been dropped in recent weeks. He's spent a ridiculous amount of time on the floor. Now Vardy should have a strike partner IMO, we're much more threatening with 2 up top, but tbh I'd feel most hard done by if I was Ulloa. Krama is not 'shit', he has clear potential but things have gone against him largely. Unfortunately, whilst he was extremely harshly overlooked by Pearson when he warranted starts (with a strike partner and not on the wing, something even Vardy was victim to last season!) in a failing front line, he hasn't taken his chances this season when he had decent, if few opportunities to make a point.
polarbear Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 so he missed a one on one that cost us a point 9 months ago? is that all you've got? and you wonder why he isn't playing?! It wasn't enough for him to be dropped as he then started away to villa and Everton. So even pearson and the team then knew he has something. I still think he'll come good for us this season. At some point vardy will stop scoring and then the argument of okazaki being there to create space for vardy is worthless I would love to see kramaric getting a run with vardy

Okazaki plays for the team though, makes tackles, not afraid to get hurt and chases the ball all game. Krama is more the player you bring on when you're winning or you have a good defence.

Guest Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Huh? Isn't he not playing because he's been shit? Not at all. He's not playing because Vardy has been on fire.

He fell out of favour with the people who signed him quickly and is nowhere under ranieri, which tells you he is hardly pulling up any trees in training either.

He played as a lone striker in all of those games. When we played ulloa up front alone at Newcastle away and some other games last year he looked lost yet ppl didn't have the knives out then. Play him in his proper position with a team with attacking mentality which we now have. If he then still doesn't perform then fair enough

If he then still doesn't perform then fair enough yeah that pretty much sums up my thoughts on him, give him a run similar to the one Okazaki has had in this attacking team and if he still doesn't perform then I would be more critical. I'm not a 'tactical' watcher of football I'll admit, but I just can't see how he can contribute any less than Okazaki has so far.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 21 November 2015 Posted 21 November 2015 Looks like curtains for Kram-dog then.
AS78UK Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 Thought both Okazaki and Ulloa had average games today. Still would love for Krameric to have a small run of games in our current team to see what he can do.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 Would also like to give him a try but unfortunately the prem is unforgiving and you can't give him time or a run of 8-10 games. I fear for him in January.
Heymister2015 Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 We need a quality striker to partner vardy! I'd sell Kramaric and sooner then later Okazaki! Embolo could be a great shout! Big, strong, powerful, quick!
maddog Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 Deserves a run tbh He obviously has a terrible attitude on the training ground otherwise he would at least make the bench every week. We don't really need so many midfielders on the bench, Krams attitude and work rate in training must stink.
Tuna Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 I wouldn't dare put him in the team. Confidence is bound to be low, he needs 6 months on loan in Italy.
