Do you reckon, if he goes out on loan for 6 months, he'll come back and force his way into the side? I only ask because I can't remember it ever happening previously!

Premiership football requires certain standards as a given and if players can't deliver on those basics there's little or no point keeping them because there's plenty of others who will. We're not part of social services we're a football club trying to go places and win things. That requires players with a burning desire to join the journey. We've already got lots and we owe it to them to make sure no-one joins them without the same kind of credentials. Think of it like an SAS squadron. One weakness and the whole group is under greater threat than necessary. More than one and the problem grows proportionately.

LCCFox96 Posted 29 November 2015 Posted 29 November 2015 I don't think Kramaric is a bad player and think he will eventually make the step up to PL level - you see flashes of brilliance. The most frustrating thing with him is the general naivety he consistently shows when playing. Elements of his game like those stupid chip shots he attempts and how he waits for the ball to come to him when passed to, rather than moving towards it himself are very, very basic aspects of his game he should have fixed by now. His movement also isn't as sharp as the other forwards and after a year with us I'd have hoped for this not to be so. I'd prefer a loan move rather than a sale at this stage. He should get until the summer to prove his worth in my opinion.
Fox92 Posted 29 November 2015 Posted 29 November 2015 It's not a surprise for him to be linked with those sort of clubs considering his goalscoring record for Rijeka and Croatia (at every level for Croatia too). He obviously has the ability. Not sure why he didn't break into our side under Pearson, there has to be a reason, and that might have changed with new management but obviously not. I'm pretty sure at 24 he won't want to be sat on the bench every week and he may end up moving but I'm not sure we'd want to push him out considering we haven't got much cover should we pick up any injuries.

Guest Posted 29 November 2015 Posted 29 November 2015 I still have complete faith in him (and our scouting team). When he gets the opportunity I'm sure he'll take it well. I'd have liked to have seen him replace Okazaki in the 2nd half rather than Ulloa.
Len Finsbury Posted 29 November 2015 Posted 29 November 2015 It's difficult to break into a team that's got momentum, that's for sure. The same applies to Inler. I like Kramaric, but I wouldn't want us to change anything just to accommodate him because of his transfer fee.
