Arsenal v Leicester City match thread

Drops our best defender this season, sticks with Simpson, calls upon Upson & sticks Kramaric up front on his own.

First impressions are, what an absolute arsehole.

5-4-1 or 5-3-2? Makes sense considering the amount of attacking we'll be under, but Wes shouldn't be as bombproof as he seems to be. This is especially true when Wasyl has been so consistent.

Solid enough, don't think the full backs will be playing as out and out wing backs tonight, just hope Schlupp has sorted himself out after Saturdays strange performance, Kramaric to score in a smash & grap park the bus 1.0 win.....

Up the City......

**** me. We've gone defecensive against a very good attacking team away from home. Maybe was has a knock? People cried last week when Kramaric wasn't in. He's in.

Come on City!!!!

Surely it should of been 3-5-2 but instead of marhez and schlupp you would play Hammond and drinkwater or something. Were not gonna get a kick tonight. 20% possession at best.

Long ball tactics, utilising the height of Krama, Mahrez and Schlupp...

With a 5 man defence surely we need pacey full backs (RDL/Schlupp) to at least give us a chance of progressing up the pitch and coping with their pace, not Simpson and Konch.

can't believe RDL isn't playing in the formation.

If we are going with 3 centre backs, then surely RDL and Schlupp as wing backs, James and Cambiasso sitting, Krama, Mahrez and one of Ulloa, Nugent, Vardy up front.

Agreed. With the extra protection of 3 CBs, then playing our two attacking FBs would seem to make sense. Their defensive frailties wouldn't matter so much and both are very good going forward.
