Cambiasso = class

Why does Cambiasso only have 52 caps for Argentina?

This is an honest question, not a bate. Who played instead of him over the years?

Maybe it took the Argentinian FA years to realise he wasn't Italian?

off the top of my head, veron, riquelme, simeone, mascherano amongst others. 52 caps isn't exactly bad, either.

Plus the legend that is Javier Zanetti.

I love how no matter which club he plays for at what age, he shows the same amount of passion. A true professional.

Esteban Cambiasso has gone from starring for Real Madrid and winning the treble with Inter Milan to becoming Leicester saviour

  • Leicester have won four consecutive games to move out of drop zone
  • Esteban Cambiasso has been integral to the Foxes in Premier League
  • Argentina international has played for clubs including Real Madrid and Inter Milan, where he won the treble in 2010
  • Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has praised his former 'fundamental' player

First half...amazing.

Second half... Pretty much disappeared.

ridiculous that he is always next to the ball yet seemingly covers so little ground. whether were defending in our corner or attacking in theirs he's rarely more than five yards away from the ball.

Come on. If you're being critical, you could say that about most the team. But Chelsea were a different side second half. Not many teams in world football would have been able to contain them.

I'd love to see a clip or video of that moment he managed to use his magic skill on the ball while he was on the ground. Still kept possession.

Yes I have done..in the post match thread.

Second half was like men against boys.

And that included Cambiasso.

First half, he was sensational (like I've said).

Second half.. I hardly saw him (like I've said).

Balance..

Don't think so.

I think what I've written is basically true.

I've given him credit for his exemplary first half display.

I've said second half he basically vanished.

Which I think is how it was.

Fair enough. I don't disagree that his influence was less in the second half, but a lot of that was down to Chelsea turning up the gears. That's why I don't think it's fair to single him out. The same could be said about any of the other midfield three.

The pass to Ulloa in the first half was one of the best I've ever seen.

Ulloa's attempt at controlling that sums him up I'm afraid.

I would have been livid if I was Cambiasso and Ulloa fvcked up a pass like that.
