Vardy and Ulloa were a massive reason for our success at the end of last year, but i cant imagine him leaving 20 or so million pounds of striker on the bench in Okazaki and Krama?! sylofox Posted 23 July 2015 Share Posted 23 July 2015 I think Kramaric is far better than our other strikers, he'll also have a full pre season which should help him out, okazaki I feel is better than Vardy, that and the fact that the Thai owners will want to see him start the game for publicity. Not to say I don't think Vardy and Ulloa are not capable, I think they'd make better impact subs than Kramaric or Okazaki also. If they intend playing players for publicity then we may as well give up now. Would like to think we play players to win for publicity not because of where they come from. Fez of Mahrez Posted 23 July 2015 Share Posted 23 July 2015 It was 3-4-1-2 for the vast majority of the Lincoln game and the second half attack and wing-backs were the real us. Thought Huth and Mahrez were the only players to impress first half. Same team as last year but Wes won't be able to start the season so it's Moore as things stand and Drinkwater in for Cambiasso. King will be fine. I'd like to see Mahrez behind Vardy and Okazaki as the first choice but Ulloa offers a lot. Nugent is a great sub to have. I don't rate Kramaric as highly as most people on here. I don't think that we'll play 3 at the back on the first game. I agree about Moore, but there's a lot more margin for error with 3 centre backs, I think playing with Huth (which isn't something Moore hasn't done yet) will really help him out and he'll feel a bit safer/comfortable in possession.
