lgfualol Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 I'll take that point. Both sides were a bit crud. Mahrez, Drinkwater and Vardy played really well. De Laet and Schlupp were good going forward.
Fox in the North Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 Finally on the 90! Getting 100 would make me very happy. Though the players really do look like they've lost a lot of focus and desire, so I really REALLY hope that changes by this weekend.
The Doctor Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 6 more points from 8 games (4 for us, 4 for burnley). Can't see Burnley beating all of Wigan, Ipswich and Reading, so it's in the bag.
Happy Fox Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 I would of taken a point. Lets hope Blackpool can do us a favour and we can win the league at home to QPR!
5waller5 Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 We sparkled and fizzed when the 7 players that had a game had the ball .... but carried too many having a very poor game. Wes, Nuge, Lloyd, Hammond ..... no space for performances like that next season!!!
Corky Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 Morgan, Nugent and Dyer did not perform at all well, Hammond improved a bit in the second half. Schmeichel, Drinkwater, Vardy, Schlupp (going forward) and De Laet were excellent, subs made little contribution. Mahrez was great out on the wing, lovely player to watch. It's a point, a much better performance than the Brighton game but I hope James is back in for QPR and the desire is lifted again, felt a bit flat all game. Nugent Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 I'll take the point. Mahrez excellent. Dyer doesn't offer a lot other than running fast.
xHamzah Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 Reckon we would have won with James and Knockaert
Steve_Walsh5 Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 Pearson can't be sentimental towards some of these players for next season. Some of them won't be good enough next season. Morgan Dyer Hammond Wasilewski GTF Won't be good enough unfortunately.

Tielemans63 Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 Everything crossed that James' injury isn't too bad and he's back for QPR. Vardy should be fitter and your think Knocky would start so it should be a strong line up for that one.
fox123 Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 Good result against a team we struggle with at their ground. I though Jeff was brilliant going forward, he is a better left/wing back than he is a striker. A whole lot better than against Brighton. Again a set piece we conceded. We need to sort that sh1t. ADK Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 It's funny how shit we played and yet we took a point away from home against a side just outside the play offs. Goes to show how bad this league is.
Monsell1976 Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 Take the point, seem to be going through the motions at present, but another point on burnley, and just winding down a great season

The Guvnor Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 Poor performance against a very average side. Was hoping Lloyd would up his game didn't happen, he was poor, Subs didn't make any difference and don't care how good Pearce's header was another set piece conceded!! Aus Fox Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 I don't get all the Hammond hate? He comes in does a job and gets on with it nothing flash or exciting but from what I have seen doesnt make many mistakes. Do we always need to have a player we don't like and get on the back of? Reading are a decent side, a good away point.

Cropwellfox Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 Mahrez and Drinkwater best players on the pitch by an absolute mile. What on earth has happened to Lloyd though, no pace or chasing down at all.
RowlattsFox Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 Think we'd have won that a few weeks ago, didn't go full out for the win. We were much classier on the ball, mahrez and drinkwater a class above. Wood offered nothing whatsoever, dyer non existent and nuge out of the game. I'm not convinced Morgan will make the step up. Overall was ok but lacking intensity.
GloverFox Posted 14 April 2014 Share Posted 14 April 2014 apart from one stunning goal from Danny that was bloody dull ... just an instantly forgettable display from both sides
