FireFox Posted 26 May 2015 Posted 26 May 2015 Albrighton in WhoScored's European team of the week. Cambiasso and Albrighton in their Premier League team of the week.
LeePhilpottsBaldSpot Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 Crooks must have some serious dirt on the BBC to be employed this long!
Nod.E Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 Also got third in save of the season on MOTD2 Which save was this for? Burnley away?
sdb Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 Albrighton in WhoScored's European team of the week. Cambiasso and Albrighton in their Premier League team of the week. He's been in that at least 3 times over the last couple of months i'm sure
Brooksy Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33843317 Best player in the world is in
The Doctor Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Imagine not having Albrighton in after ripping a side apart, getting 2 assists and a goal for his efforts.
lgfualol Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Imagine not having Albrighton in after ripping a side apart, getting 2 assists and a goal for his efforts. Ye but he couldn't have left someone out like Coutinho else there wouldn't be enough big team players. I wish he wrote more about Mahrez, it was two lines and the rest about Sunderland, whereas other players got more stuff.
fuchsntf Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Any G.Crooks thoughts or statements, should be totally ignored, on this site, even if he chose a totw with all city players. He really is a poor analyst, commentator, and a longway from being an half decent pundit.
FireFox Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 As it stands, we have Albrighton, Mahrez, Vardy, and Okazaki in WhoScored's PL best XI. The whole XI is incredible to look at. A back line made of Aston Villa players (and Nyom from Watford) and a Crystal Palace central midfield! I'm sure some Man City players will get into it, but it's nice to look at.
Vlad the Fox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 FORWARD - Riyad Mahrez (Leicester City) Riyad Mahrez Riyad Mahrez has scored four goals in his last three home appearances for Leicester City The Algerian was absolutely sensational, scoring twice. He should really have graced his performance against a totally outclassed Sunderland with a hat-trick. Poor old Dick Advocaat should have listened to his wife who begged him to give it all up and retire at the end of last season. Had the Sunderland boss listened to her, she would have saved him from this mauling and, on this evidence, another season grovelling at the foot of the table fighting relegation.
MC Prussian Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Why is Cabaye in a yellow shirt? Because they played away in yellow.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Mahrez in again http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34035853
TheSomersetFox Posted 24 August 2015 Posted 24 August 2015 Would never have predicted that he'd be picking Azpilicueta this week. Inspired choice from Garth again there.
conLAD logan Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Would never have predicted that he'd be picking Azpilicueta this week. Inspired choice from Garth again there. tbh he did play well, he's probably the best defending fullback in the keague and to add to that he scored this week so he did pretty well.
RedSoxUK Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Have to stop giving this twat attention, he really is as clueless as Sean from Enderby. I'm pretty confident Garth looks at the BBC Sports results list, checks who scored, watched the Friday/Saturday morning / Sunday morning games, and picks the players who score, or the keeper who saves a penalty. An actual analytic Team of the Weak comes from statistical data, chances created, passes completed, shots scored/shots taken, tackles mad, amount tackled, possession lost, possession gained, saves made, clear chances scored etc.. not DEFENDER SCORED A GOAL, this is a textbook Team of the Week from Garth, an absolute classic of goalscorers and midfielders who really shouldn't deserve to be there.
lgfualol Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Will be interesting to see who gets in this time. My moneys on Grealish for at least one spot. Mahrez in it again
Carl the Llama Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Should have Mahrez, Dyer, Drinkwater, Kanté, and Morgan in it for sure. De Laet scored a goal from RB so he'll definitely be in there too.
MC Prussian Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 He couldn't even wait for the Monday evening game to finish. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/35089466 Leicester players? Of course, 0.
StanSP Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 He couldn't even wait for the Monday evening game to finish. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/35089466 Leicester players? Of course, 0. he never does. it's always done on a Sunday night even if there is a Monday night game so I'll let him off haha.
