mozartfox Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 He will go the SPL (Scottish Pub League). Easy money no competition.

chapero82 Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 Hopefully people will stop moaning we didn't try and sign him now. That's why I put it up mate, and it shows we are after a striker too
Fuch Me Moore Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 I think this says everything we need to know. He's clearly not got the ambition to compete with our strikers and play for a team that is challenging near the top. In his comfort zone at Southampton

He's clearly not got the ambition to compete with our strikers and play for a team that is challenging near the top. In his comfort zone at Southampton added to his (possible) suspect fitness problem and I think we can do better - he was obviously only going to be used as a bit player here if he'd signed
CosbehFox Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 Anyone what cites where he lives at his age as why he's joined a club, stay clear. I'd question their motives.
Leicesterpool Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 Charley Austin Rejected us for Southampton because of playing time http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/charlie-austin-rejected-leicester-offer-for-firstteam-place-at-southampton-a3158931.html Even though he's a northerner I think he wanted to stay down south. Reminds me of when Billy Sharp turned us down for Southampton.
Stevosevic Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 Even though he's a northerner I think he wanted to stay down south. He's from the South And it's very obvious when you hear him speak:
Leicesterpool Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 He's from the South And it's very obvious when you hear him speak: Sorry your right I always thought he was a northerner.
orangecity23 Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 Even though he's a northerner I think he wanted to stay down south. Reminds me of when Billy Sharp turned us down for Southampton. He's from Berkshire. All his early clubs were down south, until he moved to Burnley.
EastAnglianFox Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 I actually have no real issue with players being open about the area they would prefer to play, admire them more in a way for not just following money. Was a few years ago now but was it David Unsworth who literally lasted about a week at a club because he missed his local area so much?

Was a few years ago now but was it David Unsworth who literally lasted about a week at a club because he missed his local area so much? Oh yeah his wife thought Aston Villa was a small village just outside Manchester. Demanded a move back to Everton, strangely though not so long later he joined Portsmouth.
lifted*fox Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 Fair enough I guess. Not everyone wants to move about all the time. If he's happy in the south and enjoys playing for a mid-table team, putting the effort in and scoring goals then I guess he has every right to make that choice.
Thracian Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 Charley Austin Rejected us for Southampton because of playing time http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/charlie-austin-rejected-leicester-offer-for-firstteam-place-at-southampton-a3158931.html Why he not get enough playing time, apart from our current policy of playing two defensive lines of four and relying on Vardy to do almost all our striking on his own? Hasn't the policy started doing us enough damage already?
Webbo Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 The chairman of WHam reckons he's on £100k a week. that might be another reason why we didn't sign him.
AKCJ Posted 18 January 2016 Posted 18 January 2016 The chairman of WHam reckons he's on £100k a week. that might be another reason why we didn't sign him. He wasn't going to be cheap. Bet he was on 50k at QPR.
Giggsy77 Posted 21 January 2016 Posted 21 January 2016 LiveTransferNew We understand that Leicester are interested in Hull City striker Abel Hernandez. #hcfc #lcfc pic.twitter.com/9erUY7pfPZ Thoughts?
