If we find a way to somehow beat Chelsea on Monday, we could be credited for getting rid off two opposition managers within 10 days of each other. Having said that, Chelsea could go out of the CL tonight if they lose to Porto - so Mourinho could already be gone by then. I moaninho gets the s h i t sacked out of him..

Porto are no pushovers and the result had big significance for them too. The Chelsea game is going to be a real tough one imo. Forget their league position, that's pretty false I reckon. Should be a great game.

But they are much much better than Newcastle and will finish miles above them in the league I reckon. That's what I mean. Gonna be a tougher game than the relative league positions would suggest.

Fox92 Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 Was never convinced by Monk anyway. He took over a very good squad from Laudrup, lost Bony and never really replaced him. Sigurdsson was a great signing but he had already been at the club before under Rodgers.

Wymsey Posted 10 December 2015 Posted 10 December 2015 I think both the League and the FA need to do more to help ex-footballers get a career somewhere. It's not surprising that Clarke Carlisle and Windass tried to kill themselves whilst, persumably, trying to get meaningful employment.
