Corky Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Shame because I quite like him but not surprised.
marko Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Is it just me or is there always some fallout after losing to us! Could be a job for Nige!! I reckon Brendan will be going back there.
Stadt Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 IF say, Man Utd win the Europa and Man City win the Champions League... would the Premier League then have 6 teams in the Champions League next season? Getting a bit confused with it all!it'd have 5 teams like Spain did tho season, positions 1st to 4th plus the EL winner
My Nads Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 I reckon Brendan will be going back there. He's certainly the most likely, but Nige is better and he has the reputation of keeping us up last season.
weller54 Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Is it just me or is there always some fallout after losing to us! Could be a job for Nige!! Pearson won't get a PL job!
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Shame about Garry Monk, seems pretty harsh as well, I'm fairly certain he'd have turned it around
Wymsey Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 I think it's quite disgusting/strong. He's helped them whilst struggling in League Two, way up to their highest league pyramid position. But, it's part of a normal thing now unfortunately.
Captain... Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Short termism from a premier league club? I'm shocked Seriously though he got them their highest league finish last season, started the season well, the players have decided to play shite for 10 games, and the manager gets the sack, a little unfair. Imagine if we had sacked Pearson after a much worse run last season? And that was largely down to his bizarre formations. I'm guessing they have Rodgers lined up to come back, and they will offer him a load of money, to buy better players, money not available to Monk in the Summer, they have only spent half of the £28m they got for Bony on new players. I used to like Swansea as a club and how they did business, but after this and the Williams incident, I now couldn't care less about them, just the same as every other club.
Benguin Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 For us to get a great manager sacked shows how awesome we are now
The Horse's Mouth Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 He's certainly the most likely, but Nige is better and he has the reputation of keeping us up last season. Pearson isn't better than Rodgers ffs
goose2010 Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 says 'reluctantly sacked' how can you reluctantly sack someone?! Madness if you ask me ok they are not on form but nothing has changed in personal their players are to blame not Monk I do feel for managers sometimes.
goose2010 Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Did Tactics Tim get sacked after our game? I think it was a definite nail in his coffin but I think it might of been a week or two later.
Fox92 Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Did Tactics Tim get sacked after our game? No. It was after their home defeat to Swansea, about 5 or 6 games after we beat them.
Domsdad Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Could there be a clause in Nathan Dyers loan that he can be called back?
Guest Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Could there be a clause in Nathan Dyers loan that he can be called back? Thought they said he's here for the season. Reckon we'll buy him outright anyway.
Kitchandro Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Not really sure why clubs like Swansea think a manager should even be keeping them in this league let alone go without a dodgy run of form forever.
HitchinFox Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Shame about Monk. Proved a lot of people wrong last season – not sure what's happened since. If we find a way to somehow beat Chelsea on Monday, we could be credited for getting rid off two opposition managers within 10 days of each other. Having said that, Chelsea could go out of the CL tonight if they lose to Porto - so Mourinho could already be gone by then.

IIrc Swansea finished second once in the 80s.
Wymsey Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 What's the league record for most sackings/resignations over a season?
Gerard Posted 9 December 2015 Posted 9 December 2015 Thought they said he's here for the season. Reckon we'll buy him outright anyway. Hope not.
