Vacamion Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 You know, I would actually watch that film about FIFA, which got godawful reviews, just for the lulz, now....

Lionator Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 Worlds fifth largest economy, home to the world richest and most watched football league, permanent holder of the FIFA vice-presidency and inventor of the sport. I think us pulling out would certainly be noticed. It might not be enough to encourage others to follow but I personally don't give a toss about that. I resent that we as members are endorsing this crooked regime by being a part of it. FIFA has shown its hand tonight, talking will not work. Yes but in the FIFA's set up, we have the same amount of input as St. Kitts & Nevis, American Samoa, Tonga and Swaziland etc.
ARTY_FOX Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 It needs to be a bloc decision to have any impact. England alone will have little impact; England, Germany, Spain, Italy, France etc on the other hand...... Yea, I would think that would be the only way. I can't see it happening though with what was said after his win was announced
Kitchandro Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 I hate Blatter as much as the next football fan but you're deluded if you think voting him out would save football. He is the perfect smokescreen for UEFA. He is pantomime villain, go against him and you look like some sort of hero, instead of another villain. As if UEFA, or even the FA, care about football as anything other than a business. The only difference is Blatter is so obvious, and he is such a troll. He's not just fvcking football over getting rich doing it, he's rubbing everyone's faces in it. I truly do hope all the big nations break away from FIFA, it would be a significant step. But we're surely not going to just trust Platini or any of his mates.
Larry_LCFC Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 The more I read and hear, the more mad it makes me. The only saving grace is that he is 79 already and hopefully wont be around to see out his 4 year stint. People will be lining up to dance on his grave. He is a poisonous, little runt.

FIFA have taken it to an all new level, of course the FA and UEFA want to make money they aren't charities but at least they don't destroy the game whilst doing so. Not only that the activities they are undergoing to make money is completely illegal and costing lifes
foxer Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 Probably already been said. I love the World Cup so much but would fully support a boycott. What an unbelievable farse
TheLittleBigMan Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 The fifa circus continues. Gary Lineker has recently suggested that nations should boycott fifa and rightly so, but as always it's us that pay the ultimate price. Is there anything the fans can do??
ChrisWoodIsClass Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 Protest, anyone see the person interrupt the fifa voting?
Hollism Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 Protest, anyone see the person interrupt the fifa voting? No, but unless he interrupted with a sniper rifle, he was wasting his time.
Guest Cujek Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 Proper football countries would need to stick together and boycott the world cup, would certainly make the euroes more important!
Aus Fox Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 As a football supporter it's time to start boycotting brands that sponsor FIFA, money is the problem and money is the only way we will make a change. visa McDonald's Hyundai Coca Cola Adidas Amongst others and use social media to share the boycott and the reasons why. Let coca cola know you will only drink Pepsi why they support a corrupt organisation, buy other brands of sportswear, cars and fast food. If the sponsors fall away so does the money, then the corrupt personnel. Time to make a stand.
Steven Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 Proper football countries would need to stick together and boycott the world cup, would certainly make the euroes more important! Quite. Take away Europe and South America and there is no World Cup.
st albans fox Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 With Spain and France voting for blatter, I don't see there is any point trying anything. he will die before most of us.
