matty98 Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 If anyone wants a good laugh, listen to Tony Cottee's views on Ranieri and Leicester. He is clueless, he wonders where goals are going to come from and says we need a 10+ goal striker hahahahaa
Tielemans63 Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Ranieri Glen Johnson Wayne Bridge Frank Lampard Damien Duff Joe Cole Geremi Juan Veron Arjen Robben Claude Makelele Adrian Mutu Hernan Crespo Petr Cech Great comments.

ImBlue Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Ranieri Glen Johnson Wayne Bridge Frank Lampard Damien Duff Joe Cole Geremi Juan Veron Arjen Robben Claude Makelele Adrian Mutu Hernan Crespo Petr Cech Not bad signings in my opinion. I take it these ARE ranieri's?

pazzerfox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Ranieri has a better chance of succeding if he keeps the backroom staff in my opinion.
Mad Dog Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 He may do well, he may not. One thing is for sure; we're going to spend some money before the summer is out. Sit back and enjoy the ride. It's never dull here. The worry I have; he'll sign a bunch of new players and the likes of Vardy, Morgan, Was, King, Drinky, Nuge - I'm not sure how he'll do managing them.
splinterdream Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 I've read alot of people are underwhelmed, I suppose I am too but it's probably because the excitement and passion i experienced last season, i attribute to Pearson and Pearson's team, but the reason we were on that excitement rollercoaster was due to tactical mistakes made by Pearson that's caused us to be in such a position. In an appointment such as Ranieri we have given ourselves the best chance of improving in our position because Ranieri has a lot more technical experience at this level than Pearson.
justfoxes Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Talksport are doing a piece on Ranieri aftet 21:00 this evening should be good (Hopefully ! ) To listen to an un biased perspective I'm hoping even the negative fans on here will give him time to bed in and get us playing decent football but I'm one fan who is definitely happy to have him here he will certainly give us another sde to our game play !!

Unabomber Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Leicester will be as good as it gets for pearson unfortunately. I will support this new guy, but I hope Nigel fails throughout his career. I don't expect a premier league club to touch him anyway. But where he is employed next will speak volumes of what others thought of his work this season. ok guys. What would you do if he went to Forest and we found ourselves playing them in the FA Cup? probably flee the country
Mickyblueeyes Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Thanks for all that. Read it until point number 2. Please tell me what he did wrong in his last club managerial position? You say you've got over the Pearson sacking, but the resentment is just seeping from your post mate. Well no it doesn't. Disagree with a new direction the club is being driven towards does not mean you yearn for the old regime to return. Those are all genuine questions. Ranieri is a manager who doesn't fill me with confidence that the club is going to have a structure and philosophy to play towards. As for the failing at his last job - do your own research no one is here to educate your simple mind.
Ric Flair Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Fcuk off Cottee. Ranieri gets my full support, this man is big time. Let's hope he delivers.
RedSoxUK Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Ever listening to an opinion of an ex-player regardless of his footballing career.
steveherbe Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Just realised, all you bastards calling him old, he's the same bloody age as me!! In the prime of his life, he'll never feel better than he does right now. Bet he can outrun most of the squad.
RedSoxUK Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Bet he can outrun most of the squad. Don't think so mate..

Writing off what ranieri did at Monaco as failure is evidence enough that you are not at all balanced at this moment, Maybe take some more time to get over Pearson,
steveherbe Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Don't think so mate.. You may have missed the joke there buddy!
Corky Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 He's not here to win the league, he's here to make sure we're stable. A couple of mid-table finishes is exactly what fans wanted when there were calls for Pulis to come in. It's the same for Ranieri and would've been for Pearson.
MC Prussian Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Writing off what ranieri did at Monaco as failure is evidence enough that you are not at all balanced at this moment, Maybe take some more time to get over Pearson, Ranieri's last job was as Greece's national squad manager. Ooops. Your anti-Pearson stance just woooshed over everybody's head.

les-tah Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 hes italian, he should be wet at the mouth at 5 at the back!!
Mickyblueeyes Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Writing off what ranieri did at Monaco as failure is evidence enough that you are not at all balanced at this moment, Maybe take some more time to get over Pearson, But it isn't really success is it when the only club who can spend more than you in a mediocre league (granted with a sprinkling of gems) finishes above you. If that's the way we are going "doing a Monaco" how long before the club can't last on the Thai owners billions. Try see past your own arsehole and have a discussion - pearson is gone. Negativity or being underwhelmed by this appointment does not mean that individual who holds that view wants Pearson back. Why not try to add to a discussion and suggest why Claudio Ranieri and the new approach is better rather than getting a headache from having to debate.
ImBlue Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Ranieri's last job was as Greece's national squad manager. Ooops. Your anti-Pearson stance just woooshed over everybody's head. Go back to original quote smart arse, I said club managerial position. Swoosh.
MC Prussian Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 hes italian, he should be wet at the mouth at 5 at the back!! You're so 1990.
