They can't handle that well since in my experience 9 out of 10 drivers can't even keep in lane when turning them or fit them at the side of the road when parking. Just this morning on a perfectly straight stretch of empty street I passed one whose owner still hadn't managed to get it lined up with the kerb, instead leaving it jutting awkwardly into the road. Imo there should be a separate test you have to pass if you want to drive a vehicle that large because average people clearly have difficulty coping.

Yep this, anybody that went to the lcfc champions celebration in town would know that almost everybody was filming the whole thing on a phone.. Including the players. I actually remember looking back at the situation at the time and thinking, what the fvck are we doing? Basically filming other people filming!

At least that's the way I see it

It's all about the gratification gained from showing other people that you've been somewhere or done something rather than the pleasure gained from actually doing it. So there's no point going somewhere if you can't show other people that you've been there. I'm not sure if this is a modern phenomenon though, perhaps the social media age has just made it so much more obvious.

I just hate this obsession with big-flashy 4x4 cars, to look cool, in built up urban areas. Hence, "I don't understand why people have 4x4s in an urban area". It seems pointless having these big cars in the city when you'd get from A to B cheaper and in the same time with, I dunno a Hyundai i20. But hey, guess we live in that age where everybody HAS to have pointless items such as the "latest iPhone" to show off. Selfie Sticks, on the other hand ... Looks great when you're at the top of Machu Picchu, not so great outside your house.
