ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 No thanks. Doesn't even seem to have that outstanding technical ability to offset his lack of effort anymore.
kingcarr21 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 We need all players working 100%. He would just float around at the top without tracking back. Saying that though playing a front 3 with Vardy and Okazaki either side of him i would fancy Berbatov to score loads of goals. But with his wages and age i would rather not see him come here.
FoxinNotts Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 A signing like this doesn't really fit into our pressing game/defending from the front, does it!
foxfanazer Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 No thanks. Don't think he'd fit in with our philosophy at all
HEGGSY Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Can you imagine Berbatov pressing defenders like Vardy and Okazaki? Nah.
Beliall Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 no thanks, would probably give us goals but his workrate is poor and would bring the entire team down.
NewquayFox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Would certainly sooner keep David Nugent than this guy, 34 years old and the only picture I have of him in my head is him standing still looking at the ground shaking his head after another great through ball he couldn't be bothered chasing.... It's a NO from me.... UK the City.....
desertfox2 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 No thanks. Love the work rate of the side at the moment. We are not good enough for luxury players. Could be a disaster
bovril Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Lazy. No not Berbatov but the 'he's lazy' posts here. I love the bloke but as others have stated it'd be a ridiculous signing given our current style.
richardsfoxes Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 No thanks, we dont need another striker, we want players who are going to run through walls for the manager and team, he would never do that no thanks.
SheppyFox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Crap signing for us plus his wage demands would be horrific.
Kilworthfox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 This is one that I am surprised has not been mentioned before. I agree that he would not suit our current style which I am very impressed with. I agree that he is very lazy. However he is a supremely talented footballer who has the potential to be superb as equally as he is to be the above. He is a footballer who is not all about effort, which at present is our successful pressing from the front defence. instead he is a graceful technical visionary footballer who really is worth watching. I would be happy for him to be a player for us as he would offer an alternative to our current style, that said he is not a player who could be thought of as someone who we could build a team around, rather a player who can feed from the efforts and offer a more creative option in attack.
Clever Fox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 I can't see it being a good signing at all, Maybe a few years ago but not now. Ulloa works harder and can score just as many goals. He's also settled well into our Club. If we need another striker I'd prefer a younger target being per sued. Although maybe it's a smokescreen to try and hurry CA to sign for us.
fuchsntf Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 No, No again. I like the guy, watched him many times in the Bundesliga. He looks laxadasical, but then so did Frank worthy. No he is simply too old for us.If we are looking for somebody,...we still ( before its too late) have a proven city stalwart in our own David Nugent. no sense..
bovril Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Like I said it'd be a crap signing but anybody who says they don't enjoy watching him play needs to watch videos of Iain Hume misses on repeat for all eternity.
5waller5 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Certainly doesn't fit plan A, and seems like a rich man's Beckford ..... But maybe plan B needs something different?
ARM1968 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Blokes a cvnt. His attitude alone is not what we need or want around our squad.
Beliall Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Blokes a cvnt. His attitude alone is not what we need or want around our squad. jesus, did he knock up your sister and do a runner?
Number 6 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Doesn't fit our style at all, that gif of him taking a crossfield pass out of the air is sublime though. Might not be a bad option if we needed a bit of magic.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 People nearly smashed up the stadium because of Yakubu's workrate, imagine the trouble Berbatov would cause.
