http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11712/10078298/jamie-vardy-not-yet-an-england-regular-says-peter-taylor

Yes I have. Coming from the bloke who invested the best part of £7m in Akinbuyi and Benjamin (equivalent cost would be much, much more now) this, more than anything, has convinced me that Vardy should be starting for England.

Peter Taylor can fook off. Worst manager in our history and brought the club to its knees with his reckless overspending on the shitest of shite players.

Vardy is England's wildcard, our joker in the pack and for me our only main hope to do well at the Euros.

Unlike the general bunch of 'jokers' Rooney and Woy and company.

Tell you what Tater, why don't we play him with his front to goal? Like give him the ball to run onto as he has been for his club?

And unlike your £5.5 million big capture actually looks like hitting the target now and then. Still, thanks for that. And Wise. And for ruining a great team with your overpriced set of shite. And for losing us the best chance of FA Cup glory since the 1980's.

As much as I dislike Taylor, I feel of this Tater Peeler name as awkward.

I'd far rather him be viewed as a figure of degeneracy, like Wise, as opposed to some comedic value being attached to him. He was a corrosive and poisonous a influence to our downfall, and subsequent hinter years, as Wise.

See the papers have started to dig the dirt on Vardy

What's fecking wrong with the English press a fantastic story comes along and now they want to ruin him !

His dad and mum spoke to press today about a family feud that's left himcut off from his parents.

All sounds unsavoury but surely it's no ones business only the Vardy family's business ?

They are now digging up tag wearing stories for a conviction , I'm sure now the guy he beat up will get a two page spread in the sun "how Vardy gave me 11 out of 11 smacks"

His missus surely tweeting about today's story doesn't lessen the pain of being spilt form your parents , very sad story really.

And people used to criticise Pearson for not pandering to scum like them as well. Amazing really.

Peter Taylor saying he shouldn't start for England speaks volumes really.

I'm quite surprised they didn't dig anything up from Pearson's personal life during their arguments last season given their keenness to do it for those in a positive moment.

Spot on. Why do the the media give space to these people? Pleat is another who talks pure shite. It took us 10 years to recover from Taylor. He should shut up. After his last few disastrous jobs, which have all resulted in failure, he is the last person any media person should listen too, or quote. Mind you, like Hoddle, they all were Tottingham men. They all talk shite there.

Not really England, but it's about Vardy.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/gossip/

Chelsea are lining up January moves for Leicester's England striker Jamie Vardy, 28 and Tottenham's Belgium midfielder Moussa Dembele, 28.(Mirror)

£40m for a double-swoop according to the Daily Mirror. I suppose 25 for Vardy, 15 for Dembélé, eh? :D

Dear José: Chat ****, get banged.

There is a point about Vardy though. He is exceptional at playing on the shoulder and running into space. What he doesn't have as a striker is the kind of skill or trickery to beat a player in tight situations.

With the current England team, playing slow build up and teams sitting off them, Vardy does look lost at times.

IF the England team played a counter attacking, high pressing style, utilising the embarrassment of dishes we have in quick attackers, we would be a much more effective team and Vardy would be an integral part of that.

However, it isn't going to happen!!

Vardy is a good English striker, playing in a system that plays to his strengths at Leicester.

My fear for him, if he goes to another team, (a perennial "top 4" club) is that he won't get the same style of play and may struggle.

I think he'll stay.

The whole team is geared up towards giving him opportunities to play to his strengths and he's capitalizing brilliantly with the stream of chances.

Leicester hold the cards as Vardy is contracted until 2018 by which time he'll be six months away from being 32.

His age favours us as well as no one will want to offer silly money and I can't see any club offering a figure that would make us want to sell him. I think he'll be offered a one or two year contract extension at the end of the season for 80-100k a week to keep everyone happy.
