foxes_rule1978 Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 Pathetic management but Roy. No subs until 70 mins .How does that Tottenham bloke get in the squad .4 starts for Tottenham. If he played for a lesser team he wouldn't get a look in. The concerning thing is that Roy for some reason said he thought Kane did well. Sorry but he was useless and responsible for a lot of moves breaking down
marko Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 The concerning thing is that Roy for some reason said he thought Kane did well. Sorry but he was useless and responsible for a lot of moves breaking down Let's not forget this is the guy who nominated Mascherano for the Ballon d'Or, so he's clearly a bit out of touch.
Corky Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 He'll always back his players, virtually all managers do. The last thing he'll want is a player low on confidence being criticised by his own group. Vardy merits a start on Monday on both club form and the assist tonight.
AKCJ Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 'Could well have gone down as a Zidane or a Del Piero of the game.' Sorry kid. No mention in the above quote of the way people would talk about him. Putting Del Piero and Zidane in the same comparison against Rooney as he did with Crespo and Torres against Rooney. That, in my book, constitutes as comparison. But you know, you might like to read the words next time So yes, he is comparing Rooney to Del Piero. Irrelevant if he put anything else before as this is what we're talking about. you're having an absolute mare here 'kid' you asked if he compared del piero to zidane, absolutely nothing to do with rooney.

Could have been to give him some confidence, take away the pressure a little... but I won't be happy if Vardy doesn't start on Monday and Kane does
st albans fox Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 Could have been to give him some confidence, take away the pressure a little... but I won't be happy if Vardy doesn't start on Monday and Kane does I will, we have a game on the Saturday
dmayne7 Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 You realise when he says they could have gone down as a del piero or a Zidane that he means they could have gone down as being genuine quality for an entire career, instead they'll go down as a torres or a crespo, i.e. go down as someone who was quality in patches. The words actually quite clearly support AKCJ. you're having an absolute mare here 'kid' you asked if he compared del piero to zidane, absolutely nothing to do with rooney. Ok, so if somebody says Messi is as good as Pele and Maradona, you don't think that they are both comparing Pele/Maradona with Messi, and making the assumption that Maradona and Pele are in the same category. According to your logic, it would make sense to draw comparisons between Vardy and Junior Lewis/Ronaldo. Ok then

Ok then That's ridiculous, you can't compare Vardy to an award-winning world-renowned all-time great footballer and Ronaldo

Tuna Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 How long til the sycophantic 'well done' tweet from Stringer?
yorkie1999 Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 Vardy is woys secret weapon. They tried the same move of Kane flicking it on to vardy and a cross to sterling from the goal kick a minute before.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 What a fookin pass........ Indeed, could have shot himself but showed great awareness to pick out sterling for a certain goal
Wymsey Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 He was on the wing a bit again, despite his assist and short pitch-time. Mis-hit a cross. Don't know why Hodgson puts him out wide.
johnny the fox Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 Whatever anybody thinks of the lad............I'm proud,
MooseBreath Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 Well no, but England actually have some good players, you're not poverty, just completely brain-dead. You've got great counter-attacking players like Ox, Sterling and Walcott but you insist on trying to outpass Spain. Not going to happen. It's not possible to counter attack against trams like Estonia who don't commit players forward against us. Would be great to see a pacy England side against the better teams though. Unfortunately it won't happen while Roy insists on playing slow, bumbling forwards with Sunday league technique like Kane and Wayne though.
Carl the Llama Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 Couldn't be arsed to close the ITV stream so now the highlights have come on and Hoddle basically just said that Vardy fouled their defender which is bad but fortunately Sterling played very well running into the box to tap it in.

We did it against sunderland, it just involves letting the opposition have possession and drawing them out.
justfoxes Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 Jamie Vardy did more in 2 min than Kane did all match he didn't have a good game he bumbled his way through that game Jamie should start on Monday ahead of Kane be good to see him upfront with Walcott. FairPlay lad you did well !
foxes_rule1978 Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 We did it against sunderland, it just involves letting the opposition have possession and drawing them out. The problem is Estonia would not push up even if we did that... they looked for a draw from the off, never to win the game
Wymsey Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 Don't really understand the 'love' for Kane, just don't - perhaps it's because he plays for a London club. Rather slow, can't control loose balls - quite like Ulloa. Vardy much better in all aspects.
Kegworthfox Posted 9 October 2015 Posted 9 October 2015 Just got back from the game and believe people thinking vary good enough for England got into a argument with some cockney Spurs twats. Did not like vary as not a premadonna but soon cheered when Stirling scored, thought the ball to Stirling was the pass of the night
