Leaving on 80 minutes compared to 90+ makes the difference of up to 2 hours.

deep blue Posted 10 October 2015 Posted 10 October 2015 We did it against sunderland, it just involves letting the opposition have possession and drawing them out. Absolutely. England (management) don't seem to have the nous to try that tactic.

Yeah I know after the game it was a pain to get back on the tube, cause of the crowds. I stayed right to the finish last night and It took nearly 30 minutes to get away from stadium despite the station only being a five minute walk away.
kyleolly Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 On the TV it sounded like Vardy's entry got a good cheer. I was pleasantly surprised and thought there must be a lot of City fans there.the England band were playing "jamie vardy's having a party"
GaelicFox Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Nice piece in Irish press Hard work amd loyalty pays off ! Could have really sulked at fleetwood but didn't , proper pro http://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/international-soccer/vardy-confident-his-workmans-ethic-can-continue-to-fuel-rise-31599206.html
justfoxes Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Vardy's England inclusion can only benefit city as he will keep going flat out and showing great performances for us to keep his international place, the lad deserves his inclusion he is a little gem and a powerhouse that I'm so glad he plays for us and not against us! Well played Jamie lad keep it going!

What an achievement that would be.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Think last night proves how farcical the current England set up is as a whole. No coincidence Vardy comes on and the game changes. Some seriously lazy overrated shit being picked every time over the seriously underrated. Roy is a buffoon.ThisRight on Larry. Woy a dinosaur, picking a side only a part time motd watcher might pick, using tactics that do not give England any chance of winning tournament matches. The FA continues with a coach who produced our worst ever tournament performance in Brazil, who has no plan or philosophy. I gave up on England 10 years ago, this is another reminder why. It's a an extremely unenjoyable and frustrating way of spending ones spare time.
Guest Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Great read, like the article says his final progression will be if he makes the Euro 2016 squad. What an achievement that would be. Nah, that's just a stepping stone to his golden boot in Russia.
ousefox Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 On the BBC Jamie Vardy says he is determined to move on from the "uncharacteristic and stupid" behaviour that saw him fined by Leicester City amid claims he racially abused a fellow casino goer in July. Forward Vardy was also ordered to undergo diversity awareness training by his club after the incident. The 28-year-old is the Premier League's top scorer with seven goals and played his third game for England on Friday. "I regretted it massively. I've learnt my lesson and moved on," he said. "It was very uncharacteristic of me and that is why I wanted to meet the chap himself. We sat down and had a chat and just said it was literally silly, stupid. "As far as I'm concerned I just want to concentrate on my football now and let my feet do the talking."
LanguedocFox Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 This Right on Larry. It's a an extremely unenjoyable and frustrating way of spending ones spare time. To be fair, We've won all nine qualifying-round matches, and should do the tenth tomorrow. OK, so the opposition was not wonderful, but you can only play the teams in front of you. I do agree that his team selection and tactics sometimes leave a lot to be desired, but you can't argue with the results. I hope he plays Vardy alongside Walcott tomorrow night, and I hope they both get hat-tricks. Well, we can dream - Vardy has to start though.
Matt Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Jack Butland is starting in goal tomorrow, so as has been said I imagine it'll be a very experimental team. I just hope more than anything Vardy is played in his correct position, despite moaning about him not starting on Friday if he doesn't play in his correct position i'd rather him not play at all.
fuchsntf Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Goals on Sunday... Dean Saunders, seems very impressed with Vardy, actually a good short piece he gave over Jamie, even pushing it when the other two were trying to change to another theme. This is now the type of proof, he is being recognised, and importantly appreciated, through the game. Saunders mentioning he himself tried to sign Vardy, and he was being chased, from the "bigger smaller teams" in the lower regions, being recognised has something special. Then a few premiership clubs came a looking, the rest is history. Could this lad become a short time English legend, is this where Leicester presents again the nation, with a top scoring forward.Just for the Euros,???.
richardsfoxes Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 What infuriates me is the Media perception of him, like he's a headless chicken who just runs, he is quality and deserves to be in the squad, im happy pundits and former players are taking notice of him as at this current time there is no more in form english player than him at this current time. Changing the subject to England in general though, cant wait Roy to do one, boring football, boring manager, i dont mind if we lose but show a bit of passion, Pardrew or Mourinho for me.

hornyhollthefox123 Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 http://mirr.im/1Nz9Eol Starts tomorrow night apparently.
Matt Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 http://mirr.im/1Nz9Eol Starts tomorrow night apparently. Roy Hodgson to give England youngsters a chance to secure Euro 2016 place against Lithuania. Vardy is one of the 'older' players in the squad isn't he?! I'm only joking I get what they mean just nit picking.

It's a an extremely unenjoyable and frustrating way of spending ones spare time. I'd be very interested to know if it's actually Woy picking the players or is it the sponsors? It would be surprise if say come end of the season, Rooney doesn't score single goal and Vardy bags around 20. Rooney is chosen over Vardy to go to france, purely down to the fact that Rooney sells more shirts. Same could be said for Smalling if he didn't play for a top four club, he wouldn't get in.
Babylon Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 http://mirr.im/1Nz9Eol Starts tomorrow night apparently. Hodgson quoted as saying Jamie Vardy will play for England tomorrow "if not from the start then at some point." When he's been open about others starting it stinks of him being on the bench again. If he is, then he might as well retire as he'll never go to the euros.
johnny the fox Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Hope this artificial pitch don't fook him up...things seem to be going too well for us, i'm worried.
Dickov22 Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Roy's basically told us loads of players will start eg Alli, Butland. He hasn't said that of Vardy
