whoareyaaa Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 Someone thinks this is the side Butland, Walker, Jones, Jagielka, Gibbs, Shelvey, Barkley, Lallana, Ox, Vardy, Kane
Ashley Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 Someone thinks this is the side Butland, Walker, Jones, Jagielka, Gibbs, Shelvey, Barkley, Lallana, Ox, Vardy, Kane I'd pretty much say that too tbh
Merging Cultures Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 England: 1 Butland 2 Walker 3 Gibbs 4 Shelvey 5 Jones 6 Jagielka © 7 Chamberlain 8 Barkley 9 Vardy 10 Kane 11 Lallana
Ozwin Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 Looks a decent side if true. Vardy actuallu up front too!
johnny the fox Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 hope the pitch is up to standard... hate plastic shight..
Izzy Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 vardy with a second striker. perfect It was never in doubt that he'd start. Don't know what everyone was getting their knickers in a twist about
jimmeh Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 No excuses for vardy tonight. If he doesn't play well then it's down to him. It's not about the way England play compared to leicester. It's not about the opposition. It's how vardy plays
Jimmy Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 Butland Walker Jones Jagielka Gibbs Lallana Shelvey Barkley Chamberlain Kane Vardy that'll be how they line up, maybe swap Chamberlain and Lallana
Dan Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 Mixed bag here. Glad he's starting obviously but once again feel that we're not going to utilise what strengths he does have.
lcfcsnow Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 Vardy and Kane up front Memories of 2013 Warming the bench?
AKCJ Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 OptaJoe @OptaJoe 24s25 seconds ago 8 - No player has been involved in more goals in the Premier League this season than Jamie Vardy (8 - 7 goals, 1 assist). Selected.
Dan Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 No excuses for vardy tonight. If he doesn't play well then it's down to him. It's not about the way England play compared to leicester. It's not about the opposition. It's how vardy plays There was an instance the other night where Estonia's right back had the ball with no-one around him other than Vardy who was ten yards from him. Vardy stood off him. Put him in a Leicester shirt and he's at him in seconds. I get that he didn't play well against San Marino (the one where he slipped was horrific) but he's under such blatantly different instruction and I can't help but feel that's holding him back in an England shirt.
AKCJ Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 will he deffo be up top tho? good point. the more i look at it the more i see a shite 4-2-3-1 with ****ing lallana in the middle and vardy shafted out wide
ian1984summer Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 will he deffo be up top tho? cant see him starting in goal tbh
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 Can't see him playing down the centre to be honest. Can see the Front 6 lining up as Ox - Shelvey Lallana - Barkley - Vardy Kane
RowlattsFox Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 Still find it hard to believe that Kane and vardy are now playing for England. Considering how shit they were a few seasons ago. I think he'll still be out wide.
Dan Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 Surely it's... Butland Walker - Jones - Jagielka - Gibbs Barkley - Shelvey Chamberlain - Lallana - Vardy Kane or Butland Walker - Jones - Jagielka - Gibbs Chamberlain - Shelvey Lallana - Barkley - Vardy Kane I cannot see Vardy being up front. That's got 4-2-3-1 written all over it and Kane only plays as a centre forward.
Izzy Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 Can we PLEASE not have loads of "it's not fair, they're not even passing to Vardy" posts during the game!! Unless it's obvious that they're not passing to him....
crisp packet Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 Sky reporting a 442 diamond with Kane and Vardy up top...?
