UpTheLeagueFox Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Gray looks a real talent. I could see us signing him and loaning him back this season though.
filbertway Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Gray looks a real talent. I could see us signing him and loaning him back this season though. Given the fact we only have Schlupp, Mahrez and Albrighton as first team wingers on the books, I really doubt that.
ALC Fox Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Yes please. He'll have to work for his place in the side though, which might deter him as he's currently tearing up trees in the Championship. Especially as our main aim is to avoid relegation. But I think he's good enough to force his way into the starting XI. If we're intending to make a decent fist of it in the League Cup and FA Cup this season as well as survive comfortably, he'd be a great addition to the squad.
Ric Flair Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 This is the one i've been after. £10 million up front, get it done.

alanf0x Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Have seen him numerous times over the past few seasons and he has always been a stand out player for birmingham. I think at the moment he would rather be a big fish in a small pond at birmingham, than a small fish in a big pond at Leicester. He wants game time at present and I don't think we could offer him that week in week out. Would love to be proved wrong though!!
Guest MattP Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Only saw him once and that was against Derby last week, very underwhelmed. Looked lazy and sloppy, certainly not better than anything we have.

If you had only seen Mahrez once last season you probably would have thought he was a pile of shit if you saw the wrong game.
Jon the Hat Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Definatley the type of player we should be brining in. Get it done!
Ric Flair Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Caused us no end of problems in that pre-season friendly, I wonder if that's what's alerted Ranieri to him. He said he was after an English player, perhaps he wants one young homebased player with huge potential. He'll cost us a lot but we need another winger and he ticks all the boxes. Scores goals, lightening quick, masses of skill and passing ability.
les-tah Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Would love him but then a side of me thinks a 19 year old should be playing wee in week out!
FrankieADZ Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 give over.. i dunno think Bournemouth offered over 5mil for him(could have nearer 7mil i cant remeber) so Birmingham probably want 10mil hope we get him a real real talent
les-tah Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 we wouldn't make him our record signing so assume the normal 8 million pounds fee and a shit loads of clauses rising up lots more millions!
johnny the fox Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 i dunno think Bournemouth offered over 5mil for him(could have nearer 7mil i cant remeber) so Birmingham probably want 10mil hope we get him a real real talent 10 mill is way over the odds..the lad has only had one season ..
Ric Flair Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 10 mill is way over the odds..the lad has only had one season .. In this current market it's not. Andre Gray went for £9 million? This lad is a lot younger and could be worth double within a few seasons. Sadly, £10 million doesn't get you much these days.

The Railway Man Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Wouldn't mind taking a chance but they can seriously fcuk off if they want ten million, buying young English talent for vastly over inflated money isn't the way to go these days.
