why would he want a downgrade?

If Man Utd seriously want him he'll be gone I'm afraid. Just the shit state of football now. The big boys with their ridiculous money will buy him, more than likely stagnate his progress whilst we... well, have to invest wisely. Only way clubs like us will get by.

At the end of the day if a club like that comes in for him it would be unfair to deny him a maybe once in a lifetime opportunity. You don't turn down Man Utd if they come calling it's a simple as that. Can see us getting a fee between £20-25M.

Hope it does not happen in January but if he continues his form we have him on limited time.

So enjoy him while he is here and wish him good luck if he goes.

Thing is however good a start we have made we are Leicester City and they are Man Utd.

hope he goes Paris when he makes the step up, I watch PSG quite a lot these days. I just hope he doesn't go to a team like United, in their current state at least. Might actually be a good fit for Liverpool or Arsenal

Completely agree with Dan, if a big club does come in for Vardy or Mahrez or anyone i think they will be off regardless, especially if its a great price. You only have to look at Southampton a similar club to us to find out how they dealt with the pressure of big clubs coming in for their most valued players.

Zaha mk 2? Hahaha difference is Zaha was actually pretty shit in the championship.

You wasn't at the game, when we had palace at home that year then? He/they destroyed us! Best player I saw down here that year

Of course United want him. Pretty much every big club want him. It's ****ing lazy journalism, started off from one 'source' (could be ****in made up) and copied by everyone else.

If we keep playing the way we are we need to get used to these bollocks rumours of massive clubs looking at our players.

We're a big club. And when we finally move above and beyond United, it'll be their players being rumored to be joining us. Things are changing, Riyad isn't going anywhere.

One thing we do know for sure is, going to United with Van Gaal in charge would be a wrong move.

I still hold hope that he'll stay, but I think even he knows that he's capable of playing Champions League football.

I can't work out whether it's very late or very early to be drinking ..............

Be interesting to see how we handle the inevitable offers for Vardy and Mahrez.

Don't need to sell as the riches of having good settled players outweighs the fee. But to keep them we may have to offer bumper contracts, which would push us into new territory and may disrupt squad harmony.

Bottom line I think is that if they want to go, they'll go. Will be gutted to see it though. A colleague who is a Utd fan once said to me, I should be happy we're getting good money for players: sticking a suitcase with £25m in the right wing is not as fun to watch as Riyad though.

As long as he is playing every week scoring a few goals and the team can stay in the top half of the division I think he will stay. There is no indication at all that he is unhappy.Sometimes better to be a big fish in a smaller pond and he probably knows that. Perhaps the team and club can grow with him.

The only issue might be European football or money but surely we can match anyone price wise to keep our star performers.I think other players would understand if there was a wage differential it did not seem to be an issue with Cambiasso and Vardy /Mahrez are well up there with the best in Europe.

I have a feeling that stuff is going on behind the scenes

The board asked us to 'trust them'

There is the new 'smart' edict where the first team now arrive in suits

I know for a fact that the dress codes in the corporate areas are being looked at and enforced more

Methinks January could be very interesting, especially if we manage to take some points off the big boys and are still in touch with the top 4.

I fully expect bids for Hummels, Dani Alves, Messi and Ronaldo to be made public shortly then.

He doesn't necessarily have to be unhappy here. I don't think some of you appreciate Man Utd's pulling power. One of the biggest clubs in the world. I absolutely echo we have a lot going for us here, but this is Manchester United.

I think we are potentially all underestimating how much money the owners want to chuck our way.

I am not ITK by the way, just have a feeling that their aspirations are bigger than the fans and they're prepared to put their money where their mouth is.

Surely depending on where we end up at the end of the season we may get a chunk of money for Mahrez. if PSG and Man U are interested it has to be 15-20 million at least. It would be hard for us to turn that down and also Mahrez to not be interested.

I know contracts and signinging thereof, in football means nothing, but he signed a new one in the summer,

That should give us his loyality until Summer at least. Discussing EOS ins and outs, depends heavily how this season pans

out.

#He may be just sitting already in a new top developing team, With Ranieri at the helm.

#We may scrape a top 6, with Ranieri needing to use his persuasive powers with Europe as the Carrot.

# He might just be quite happy staying here, so long as relegation is not on the agenda.

If he went in January, I would be disappointed with club and owners.Plus I would be disappointed with Riyad.

It depends whether he wants to listen to his agents, or to himself and his own expectations.
