StanSP Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Who was the last Leicester player to score for their country on international duty? Schlupp? Kramaric?
Captain... Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Who was the last Leicester player to score for their country on international duty? Schlupp? Kramaric? Mahrez probably.
Wymsey Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 That's great, and good decision. Bet Rooney isn't dropped.
Brainy Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 I know it doesn't mean he's a guaranteed starter but why should he be dropped? He's the captain. It would take a lot more than poor form to be dropped.
Aus Fox Posted 5 September 2015 Author Posted 5 September 2015 Clean sheet for Kasper in a game Denmark really needed to win, but just couldn't get the ball in the back of the net. And Jamaica falling apart without Big Wes. 2 down inside the first 10 minutes.
Guest Posted 5 September 2015 Posted 5 September 2015 McAuley netted twice for the ex-foxes International brigade.
KFS Posted 5 September 2015 Posted 5 September 2015 Who else is red buttoning SS5? Think they're streaming Gokhan's game!
NewburyFox Posted 5 September 2015 Posted 5 September 2015 Who else is red buttoning SS5? Think they're streaming Gokhan's game! He's on the bench.
Corky Posted 5 September 2015 Posted 5 September 2015 He's on the bench. Isn't he the captain? Bit odd to leave him out in a crucial match.
NewburyFox Posted 5 September 2015 Posted 5 September 2015 Isn't he the captain? Bit odd to leave him out in a crucial match. I think so but he's definitely on the bench. 01 Sommer 02 Lichtsteiner 22 Schär 04 Klose 13 Rodríguez 10 Xhaka 15 Dzemaili 18 Mehmedi 11 Behrami 23 Shaqiri 09 Seferovic
smudger63 Posted 5 September 2015 Posted 5 September 2015 I was hoping Inler would be playing in both their games, because he needs pitch time, to get some match sharpness, although that may well be why he`s not starting tonight.
shen Posted 5 September 2015 Posted 5 September 2015 Wow - so the sub Drmic scores, and the sub of the sub Stocker scores the equalizer? That's a rare occurrence! Nevermind, Livescore messed up.
st albans fox Posted 5 September 2015 Posted 5 September 2015 Crazy finish to the Swiss game - 2 down with ten to go and the winner in the third minute of added time !
LcFc_Smiv Posted 6 September 2015 Posted 6 September 2015 Chilwell captain'd and scored for the U20s! Two winners in that, Matt Reeves our first team sport scientist also works with the U20s, do we have a LCFC back room staff international topic...
MC Prussian Posted 6 September 2015 Posted 6 September 2015 Crazy finish to the Swiss game - 2 down with ten to go and the winner in the third minute of added time ! Absolutely. That was quite a rollercoaster of emotions. Lichtsteiner and to an extent Shaqiri to come out with any credit as part of the starting eleven yesterday, the rest should take a real good look at themselves and hang their heads in shame. Kudos to two substitutions for bringing in much-needed agility and determination (Drmic and Stocker). And the manager must've also done something right (alas only for roughly ten out of 90 minutes).
MC Prussian Posted 6 September 2015 Posted 6 September 2015 Why Inler on the bench Prussian? I can't really tell - there's two scenarios here. Either he's been left out because of lack of playing time. Or he's been left out because Granit Xhaka has been claiming Inler's position for quite a while now, saying he can't unleash his skills properly when played out wide in the middle. So manager Petkovic finally thought: "Alright, now put your heart to where your mouth is.". And Xhaka was far from convincing yesterday evening, put in some really bad tackles, was often second to the ball, gave away silly fouls and was nowhere near the influence going forward that he himself wishes to be. I do hope Petkovic reverts to the previous formation with Inler in the centre of the park for Tuesday's game.
Matt Posted 6 September 2015 Posted 6 September 2015 Mahrez starts for Algeria against Lesotho starting a 2pm.
st albans fox Posted 6 September 2015 Posted 6 September 2015 Not liking that pitch. Hope Riyad is subbed soon!
foxfanazer Posted 6 September 2015 Posted 6 September 2015 Great assist by Mahrez https://youtu.be/-O49NseGmcQAlways rated him but he's really added to his game so far this season. Seems to be much more end product from him. Great assist that
