Migrants - What's the answer?

How about a flag compelling the Gov to help sort Syria out rather than encourage the most desperate of people to pay everything they have to sit on a scrap of wood with 100 others drowning their children along the way?

Or... We could

Ah bless, this is truly horrible what's going on but all theses people jumping on the band wagon probably don't live in the inner cities where these anxious frightened people will end up facing a lot of anger and resentment from those already there. There will be no happy ending whatever happens. How about those with big houses opening up their spare bedrooms ?

does that include refugees from forest and cov?

If they are willing to renounce their sins and acknowledge there is only one true faith, then they're allowed in.

Please God no what an awful thread.

As heart breaking as it is seeing children washed up on beaches, opening the flood gates for migrants to Britain isnt the answer.

Let's keep this a foxes forum and steer away from politics.

Refugees Welcome stuff is just the latest social media thing...It'll soon pass...People jumping on the bandwagon due to emotional responses to a photo.

I don't like the big flags down the football anyway..whatever they have on them.

USA has taken in something like 120 thousand refugees in the last year. We have taken in something like 30 thousand.

We should be doing more for genuine refugees

Should we fu*ck.

Our small island is about the same size as Florida and that's only 1 state in 50. How an earth can we fit everyone in and pay for there lives.

WS bbc reporter..went to a refugee camp in hungary..asked to speak to the female refugee's about the situation, they looked at their men, they shook their heads and wouldn't allow it....that is the problem, sadly it won't change when they are finally living here.

Correct their way of life is nothing like ours. it will only cause trouble between communities.

Why do people want to use football as a social engineering tool besides it's being  obvious that not all 30,000+ fans agree with the message.

Let's have one that says Ban Zero Contracts or Corbyn is a red under the bed.

I can see the point of anti racism and gender issues being shown because they have a negative presence at football.

Let's  stick to football being about football.

Just to add if you feel so strongly about it create your own flag and parade it around the city centre maybe put a sign up in your house saying Refugees Welcome Here.

lol lol lol it's a fact though lol

Well it's not. It's plain moronic to suggest that there isn't space for any of our existing towns or cities to expand to accommodate an increase in population.

I mean, if you really think the country's "full" I assume you think banning childbirth might be an appropriate policy...

Why don't all these people offering up their spare rooms to migrants offer them to the homeless currently living on our streets who need a leg up for a little while?

We're not full, there's over a million empty homes in the UK I read yesterday.

Let's accept a million families of 4 then!

I dont see much point in doing it at a football game but it is a nice idea. Hopefully we do take a fair amount of refugees, we're all humans after all.

Whoever thinks we are full has been reading too much Daily Mail. There is so much xenophobia out there at the moment.

lol that might be appropriate now ...

I want to help these people as much as anyone but opening the floodgates and letting 10s of thousands immigrants is definitely not the answer we obviously need to tackle the problem on Syria once and for all.. (P.s I don't no how to resolve it but I'm hoping someone smarter in the government can)
