Buzzell Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 This man should be given the key to the city. That fat dude lol
Raw Dykes Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Sherwoods interview with Sky made my day. Awesome. Didn't look quite so smug. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
crisp packet Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Feels good . We was awful for 70mins... Hate vile!!!!! Get in there . Beer and watch the build up and last 20 again on sky +
Webbo Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 You mean man of the match Mahrez with 2 assists and a big contribution to our other goal? You don't half talk some sh*t sometimes! No I thought he was poor, ran into too many tackles when he could have passed, slightly better in the second half. He gave the ball away for their second goal as well.
rmahrez Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Still can't believe we won that Mahrez, Kante and Dyer sensational. Love how we never give up.
Thomas fisher Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Even at 2-0 down I thought we were still in the game but to end up taking three points shows just how far we have come. Mahrez is now starting to look like a top end footballer to get him on this new deal was very special, big clubs will definitely come knocking in January let's hope we can keep hold of him for the rest of this season and fingers crossed next. Watching sherwood post match was almost as good as winning who the f##k dose he think he is proper knob.
fuchsntf Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 A.V, and Sherwood did their homework, Lescot and Richards, played deep, and even though we scored 3 goals, those 2 didnt have a bad 2nd half. AV were the better team through the 1st half, they took the midfield.I thought Inler started poorly, but grew into the game. Even when we took the game, the Center of the field was no blue shirt.DD was non exsistent, his 2nd half he was alot better, but center park we let them run it. Inler , nobody supported him, we still had good moves, but every single play, were often on the wrong side when challenging. He like Cambiasso, will need more game time.I would like to see Inler and Kante together, Kante will give Inler room. We werent that bad in the 1st half, we played some good football, but some below par tackling, AV, were just better, and played slick. they played regular beautiful 1-2s, some times triangles But....but..!!! that 2nd half determination, pace with some powerfull, and skillfull doubling up. Claudio seen where he needed to change it, nothing to do with "Tinkerman" just plain Logic.Morgan at present is playing so far better than last year. We are 2nd, but we havent yet found our consistent base team for the future. ULLOA did a good job, proving that he and Kramaric, need to stay around. Okazaki challenged ran his heart out, but none of his teammates were picking up on the looseballs he was winning.
lestajigs Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Just got in, ****ing poor first half, kante, and dyer changed the game fair play
lifted*fox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 The sweetest part was having my best friend in the whole wide world sat next to me in the kop. He's Villa.
Wymsey Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 THAT should be the benchmark for the season. If we're playing under-par, and a few goals down, WE CAN overcome it.
ScouseFox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 No I thought he was poor, ran into too many tackles when he could have passed, slightly better in the second half. He gave the ball away for their second goal as well. id appreciate poorer than the ridiculous level of his first three games, but "poor"?! you nuts? he didn't score or win the game single handedly like he can but he was superb for most the match. even first half nothing was coming off for him and he was often trebled up on by villa but still looked our best player. second half he was unplayable. set up two and was at the heart of the other. poor webbo? camon son.
dylanlegend Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 No I thought he was poor, ran into too many tackles when he could have passed, slightly better in the second half. He gave the ball away for their second goal as well. To be fair he did give the ball away (but that's expected of attacking players from time to time) and I thought maybe Dyer or Kante should have been MOTM after the difference they made to the game
TrentFox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Thought Ulloa did his cause no harm in his cameo. Would be very tempted to start him next week alongside Vards.
jimmeh Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Thought Ulloa did his cause no harm in his cameo. Would be very tempted to start him next week alongside Vards. Agreed he was immense. Looked a lot sharper
Mark_w Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 I'd feel slightly sorry for the opposition if it was almost anyone other than Villa.

Okazaki challenged ran his heart out, but none of his teammates were picking up on the looseballs he was winning. Drinkwater was much better than Inler. Doesn't matter if Inler "looked like he has potential to grow" he still have the ball away much more than he should have
roblcfc84 Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Well that was just amazing. Big wes was superb. Drinky looks like a new player - kante looked great. Inler needs a few games to adjust
elvisfmcfly Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Thought Ulloa did his cause no harm in his cameo. Would be very tempted to start him next week alongside Vards. The team that finished this game surely starts the next.
Bazly Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 De Laet is a constant concern. So slow he gets turned way too easily. The team needs a new right back if its going to stop leaking goals or to move to a 3 back line. There were plenty of clean sheets at the end of last season on a 3 in defence line up. Dropping De Laet would allow Inler to sit in front of the back 3 to distribute play an cover defensively and then free up a slot in midfield for Kante. Kante really puts it about with hard tackles, good distribution and pace. He was the link through midfield that made the difference today as Albrighton had an off day and Drinkwater was continually punting the ball to no one.
jimmeh Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Genius from ranieri to move mahrez in the middle second half. And to bring kante on and dyer. Every game so far... The changes he makes in the game are successful. Such a tactical upgrade on pearson
RobHawk Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 I was disappointed with inler. Had some good touches but he's work rate was abysmal, there were a few occasions including the 2nd goal where he looked like he couldn't be bothered. Early days though and I'm sure he'll come good. Kanye and drinky to start next for me. Also chuffed for Dyer, just a shame he got battered so we couldn't his salute celebration. Edit: also great see morgans back to beast mode. Looked so good at the back today!
filbertstreet Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 How much did Villa bribe that ref, some shocking calls Great game though
BigWesMorgan Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 We're so massive, Cristiano Ronaldo comes and watches in his spare time
Tielemans63 Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 also, wes morgan was absolutely brilliant today, a different player from last season To be fair he was pretty good for most of the second half of last season, he just needed some time to find his feet in the top flight. To think some of our fans had written off before last season even began. Wes. Is a ****ing brilliant captain.
4everfox Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 We have got to be one of the most feared teams to play against in world football at the moment. If I was a fan of Man City or Arsenal or any other of the so called big teams I'd be fearful of Leicester I really would.
