Countryfox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Third surely behind Andy King. ...... And Muzzy and Lennon .....
Guest Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 How far did he run today. And what an unerring ability to take the ball away from people.
Saxondale Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 This guy is great. He makes so many ball-winning tackles and interceptions and he's really strong on the ball. Some of his passes are a bit slack but I'm sure he can work on that.
ScouseFox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 he is amazing. his inability to actually play football is my favourite thing about him, just ahead of him being so small and him running so fast everywhere. hero in the making.
Babylon Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Everyone loves a trier... And this bloke is the Don of triers.
Foxhateram Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 He is great in the tackle but has a lot to do on his passing ability. He reminds me of schlupp a lot to be honest. Quick and strong but lacks the final product at times. Potential to be a top premier league player.
NewquayFox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Cracking little player and reminds me of the 'Terriers' that scrapped in the midfields of the late 60s & 70s... Up the City..
Babylon Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 He is great in the tackle but has a lot to do on his passing ability. He reminds me of schlupp a lot to be honest. Quick and strong but lacks the final product at times. Potential to be a top premier league player. I think much of it comes from playing at such a high tempo some of his passes lack control. He's actually not a bad passer, I think it's more down to his style.
Ozwin Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 His passing will improve in time. You can't take away his quick, never say die attitude on the pitch though by making him be more reserved and safe because as soon you do that he'll be half the player. If they don't mention him on MotD there's no justice. He has been immense recently.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 He was absolutely fantastic today. Regains possession for us on so many occassions and looks like another gem of a find by Walsh Snr.
weller54 Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Fingers crossed his injury isn't serious...
orangecity23 Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Very good today, the guy is just so much fun to watch. Needs to be starting in the middle though, he was wasted out wide. Unlucky not to score too, had a cracking shot saved in the first half.
GingerrrFox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 If he doesn't start playing in central midfield next to Drinkwater from the start soon, Ranieri wants shooting.
foxfanazer Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 We'd have lost without him today for sure. Class
Max Power Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 I can't remember seeing a midfielder win the ball so frequently. Must be an absolute nightmare to play against, not just always hounding you but he then nicks the ball and starts a counter attack
wokinghamfox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 A gem of a signing. I love his style of play and feel so confident with him in the middle of the park. Has to be my fav player at the club for sometime
foxes21 Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Id like to see him in the middle with Kingy. King holding, and Kante further up the pitch, winning the ball, pressing high up the pitch, setting up the counter etc.. I think that will be our best pairing in due time. Kings disciplined & simple style of play will stand well alongside our terrier IMO..
englebert Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 If he doesn't start playing in central midfield next to Drinkwater from the start soon, Ranieri wants shooting. But if he does that the Ranieri can't move him at half time and get credit for tinkering.
NewquayFox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Don't think he got injured today, saw the trainer mouth 'Cramp' before he went off.... Up the City...
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Just the type of player we've needed since we came into the top flight. All energy, a ball winner, a great tackler and fast too. We City fans love a battler in the side and this little fella epitomises workrate and effort. Not only that though, he's got ability with it.
bovril Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 One of the best tacklers I've ever seen at the club. Now if he could just learn to pass...
Fox92 Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Man of the match today. Second half when he moved into the middle he was everywhere. Unbelievable. Needs to start ahead of Inler.
