West Ham Carling Cup pre match thread

Thought at £13 we may shift a few more than that, anyone know if wet spam are bringing many?

I'll be paying at the gate and I suspect a few more will.

I'll be disappointed if it's less than 20,000.

We took about 1500 to Bury so I'd imagine West Ham will fill their end for a shortish trip.

Chilwell and Dodoo aren't in the u21 squad today, so I expect both to play tomorrow.

Okazaki has found his last two games much more difficult than his first two, and Ulloa showed on Saturday that he's still an effective target man when City need more muscle--even when playing deep. Again, this is Kramaric's time to show Ranieri that he provides a more skillful option up front, and an option that deserves to be brought into the starting XI.

I wouldn't want us to make wholesale changes but then I look at our fringe players like Wasyl, Fuchs, King, Kramaric, Ulloa... who all would be comfortable enough and could do with game time.

One person I don't want to see involved though is Danny Simpson.

Why am I seeing a load of reserve sides?

We've had such a good start it's unlikely we're going to be involved in a relegation scrap this season, put out our best team, this is a chance to win a trophy.

Kasper

RDL

Huth

Morgan

Fuchs

Dodoo

King

Drinky

Dyer

Kram

Ulloa

I think a side without wholesale changes is needed, resting the more dynamic players whilst introducing some players that need game time.

I wouldn't have Vardy or Mahrez on the bench either, if they're being rested, do it properly.

This kind of cup is there for the taking but 10k sold and changes on the way? Sadly we're part of the problem. We'll lose.

Yep. Really disappointing attitude from both club and supporters. I might be a cvnt and hark back to this game when people are begging for midweek Liverpool spares at almost 40 quid a pop.

Sorry but you can't blame the fans here.

Had we put the first team out then yes but the manager has said it will be a similar team to the one who played Bury.

We have a strong squad but asking people to fork out 15-20 quid to watch the ressies will result in apathy.

Just over 10k tickets sold for this,

The women at the ticket office just told me

If it was at West Ham for that money, I'd go - but Leicester is a bit far without further planning atm..  (The only reason we're going for the rugby on the 6th is because my Mum will be driving us all up there (we've all got tickets)).

It may well be the second string but it is still a dam site stronger than the crap we put out last season against Shrewsbury.

No team plays their strongest eleven anymore in this competition so we are not alone in doing this. Price wise it is about right so I don't know why people are moaning at paying fifteen to twenty quid in order to watch an Austrian Captain and International in Fuchs a Swiss captain and International in Inlet and an England international in Carroll?

remember when kitchandro tried to make out like this was a great draw and we'd sell out and win the cup and itd be amazing.

10k in the rain watching our reserves lose to west ham. rather this competition just didnt even exist anymore if its always gonna end up like this.
