Why joint 5th? We lost 1-2 on aggregate, Barcelona lost 0-3, Bayern and Dortmund lost 3-6.

We are 5th, ahead of them all. :)

Maybe we could have a play off tournament, us, Barca, Bayern and Dortmund we could play it in pre season.

To make it fair on a neutral venue in say China, America or Australia - maybe across all three and Europe?

It could be annual thing? I think this has legs

sounds good, we could even have a 5th place 'mini champions league' trophy for our cabinet! Or even better, a trophy for each game played?

If Riyad gets his dream move to Barca we could be playing for the Riyad Mahrez trophy on an annual basis.

Let's make it happen - though given our exploits last summer we should perhaps make those neutral venues more exotic but better placed to aid our preparation for next season. I'm thinking the Ricoh Arena, Meadow Lane and Peterborough's ABAX stadium.

When we play WBA next game, that'll be our 4th away game in the league in a row after playing Everton, Crystal Palace and Arsenal.

Is it me or this quite a rare occurrence to go this many games without a home game?

It's an extremely rare occurrence, mainly for the fact the PL dictate it shouldn't happen!

"A team will never have more than two home or away matches in a row"

Save for the odd occasion for stadium reasons (Liverpool this season, West Ham next season)

Was yesterday Shinji's first ever assist?

Vardy's second v Liverpool at home last season. He scuffed a shot and it went straight to Vardy who tapped it in.

5 - Craig Shakespeare is only the 4th manager to win his first 5 PL home games in charge, after Pellegrini, Eriksson and Ancelotti. Poetic.

60 - Jamie Vardy has now been involved in more PL goals than any other @LCFC player (41 goals, 19 assists), one more than Muzzy Izzet. Fox.

When you think that Muzzy was involved for 7 seasons whilst Vardy has had 3, even more impressive.
