In Thracian's eyes King would start for Bayern over Alonso, start for Barcelona over Rakitic and start for Real Madrid over Kroos.

And I would agree with him over them three but drinky edges it for me :D

Liverpool fans I were speaking to earlier aren't confident. Most agree with what I said that they'll click eventually, but this year's that bit too early and there are still gaps galore. I actually think we're going to win again. I think we're set up perfectly to beat them.

Liverpool 1-3 Leicester. Really.

I expect to win at Anfield.

Feck me.

Agree. Absolutely expect a win here. They're utter pants!

And also agree - I can't believe I've just typed that with justification. Truly, we are better than them!!

Loving it! X

He has strained his hamstring. it won't do him any harm to have an extra few days. Will he be able to play 3 times in seven days anyway? Surely that would be risking a recurrence? AK is a more than capable deputy and DD can then play tues/sat followed by another rest FA cup Sunday.

I recall he injured himself last dec at anfield during the first half.

Our players are operating at a very high physical level. managing their niggles is important.

I wonder if Claudio will play kingy at anfield and give Danny an extra few days rest to return against citeh?

I think this might be sensible, then a fresh DD could play against Man City three days later

Should have won last year and would have but for Mike Jones failing primary school biology, and we're a better side, while they've not really gone anywhere since. We'll win.

Poor Officiating cost us a win there last season, Liverpool will always concede goals so I predict a decent City win....

Up the City...

Andy King reminds me a lot of Neil Lennon ..not spectacular but a very effective player..scrambling goals from a few yards out as against WHam last season or clearing headers off the line like yesterday..covers the whole pitch without getting noticed..if DD needs a few more days rest i think AK is more than able  cover

There's no reason why we can't win this, but I don't like the over-confidence in here.

If they're that bad today, chances are they're going to be better next week.
