Liverpool.. Boxing day.. Early thoughts..

Was played a blinder yesterday?

IMO Was was arguably man of the match, he played a blinder & Huth (great player) wasn't missed. I think he has set a problem for Claudio,

does he bring back Huth or stick with Was.

Kingy had a half decent game but I would like to see Drinky back provided he is fit.

I hope Klopp plays the same keeper as today!

What keeper?

Couthino is a great little player. If he has an off day then we'll win handsomely.

I want to be confident but this is still the same team that battered Man City. Having said that we are pretty unstoppable to be fair, hopefully we just play our game and it's business as usual.

Hope Skrtel isn't out. Ordinary defender.

All their defenders are ordinary.

Skrtel or Sakho get injured then there replaced with Lovren or Toure, all of which are shit.

Liverpool have put their best performances in in unlikely ciircumstances and you cant deny the individual quality they have. If it clicks, itll be a tough afternoon. But im confident we can take all 3 points if we are on our game.

Im pretty confident theres a way around the high press too, but thats for another time

Bugger!

Skrtel injured!

He's so shite I wanted him playing against us!

Who's going to be CB against us then? Skrtel and Lovren out...

Sakho and Toure  :xmaslaugh: Oh my! We have to win this, top six could be almost sorted if we do!

Another trip to Liverpool and further need to focus on the next job.

Ranieri is such a good psychologist.

Yesterday's achievement is enjoyed then fast committed to the record books. He guards against anyone relaxing and getting ahead of the situation.

Individually and collectively the plans are cemented together with hard work and attention to detail.

"Thinkerman" is a much more appropriate handle for the guy and Boxing Day just the next round of a demanding contest and one we need to win as much as every other.

Ironically our recent injuries have helped in some ways in allowing fringe players like Kingy, Was, Ulloa, Shinji, Inler, Benny and Dyer to show themselves ready, waiting and well determined to add their own contributions and this can only serve to maintain the concentration so vital to our outcomes.

The longer the season goes the more it seems that the intensity of good comeraderie will win the 2015-2016 Premiership rather than the size of any chequebook.

All around there are emerging teams who seem to be feeding off the example of others who've been on a similar rise - teams like Watford, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace and, suddenly, the big teams are under such massive pressure week in week out because opponents are no longer intimidated by their history or their reputations.

Every game is becoming a punter's nightmare, almost a form of Russian Roulette most likely to be won not by the team with the most expensive weapons but by the team whose weapons are best oiled, primed and aimed.

Our job in the next cauldron of sporting endeavour is simple - to stay alert, contest everything and show ourselves to be lethal when the chance arises.

Totally Thracian, one thing is certain the team will not lack preparation, effort, togetherness or skill!

I like the analogy with other so called smaller clubs like ourselves and I think this is why we're getting verbal support from all sorts of unusual places , even Derby and Forest fans! The fact is its given a little bit of belief and hope to thousands of football supporters ie if they can do it perhaps we could? Long may it continue , it's bloody good for football , paticularly when you see arrogant individuals like Van Haal struggling despite his make believe and weekly changing 'philosophy ' after pissing £200 up the wall!

Am I right in thinking we have been the bookies favourites to lose every match this season?

Assuming Arsenal was a fluke (as we didn't go 3-0 up as we were meant to) then I would propose we will get points from every match until we are the bookies favourites to win.

Just checked: I think you should all put your money where you mouth is : good odds for a win against a mid table side.

Liverpool are way favourite ???????
