So they got home a few hours quicker. That's barely an exuse.

Possibly worst performance of the season in the second half, the penalty was important in the game, but we are capable of performing better really, if it was a top team, we may have conceded 3 or 4!

Do people not get that people are unhappy at the performance and the pathetic capitulation rather than at going top?

Tottenham weren't away midweek...

No they weren't, but focus on today, come on Villa's what 45 minutes away at most, hardly a long trek.

With fans who are on their back's as soon as they mishit a pass, a vile atmosphere at Villa at the moment, we could and should have used that to our advantage to make us feel at home.

Poor excuse to use home/away advantage.

Ranieri tryed to close the game out to soon

Villa were all over us all second half, at least we didn't lose.

We shouldn't be playing with two right backs against 20th place in the league for 5 minutes nevermind almost all of the second half talk about negative, and then Ulloa lumbered on lol

So don't talk about not winning the league then. That's not just today.

Today was shit, I'm not happy with tactics, players, subs and many other things. No matter how much of a pipe dream I think winning it is, basing your chances on one game is ridiculous.

One of the first times today that I questioned Claudio's substitutions. Okazaki was our best player and when has it actually worked with Mahrez down the middle?

Ulloa's touch and lack of pace don't suit our play and it makes him look like a donkey.

De Laet was shockingly bad and still cannot kick a ball in the direction he wants it to go.

Gray offered a bit more but is only young and wasn't on for long enough.

Still top of the league but our style needs to improve. I'm putting it down to fatigue and a busy run of fixtures.

Still a lot to be positive about. One thing that seems to have changed is our goals to shot ratio. Earlier in the season it was around 65% but I would be surprised if it's over 40% now.

P.S. Mahrez needs to stop thinking he's made it and go back to the player we saw in the first 10 games.

We looked comfortable in the first half and we were pretty much in control; however it of course all turned around in the second half and we played dreadful.

I thought Simpson, Morgan, Fuchs, Drinkwater & Okazaki were decent, the rest were either average or shit. Huth played like a mad man tonight and should have been sent off, Mahrez was absolutely woeful and Vardy doesn't look 100%.

Subs were poor, De Laet & Ulloa both need replacing by the end of this month.

It's not a loss but some players need to take a good look at themselves after tonight, another tough run of fixtures coming up, if our major players don't find form we will start to drop off.

Yes we're top of the league, blah, blah, blah.....everybody knows we will not finish top of the league.

Everybody wants us to cling to the that 4th spot and this result may have fv(ked it all up.

Now I'm hoping to cling to a 5th Europa League spot.

Got what he deserved... Challenge now is about learning, fingers crossed. He's been tactically astute so far for 95% of it.

It hasn't helped but it is far from alarm bells just yet when it comes to a top 4 finish

lol maybe the mic was right near them. Only fans I could hear the majority of the time.

I heard a massive "FUCK OFF ALBRIGHTON!" early on in the game, presume (Hope!) it was a Villa fan! lol

I hope the 4 points we've thrown away against Bournemouth and Villa don't come back to haunt us at the end of the season. Saying that, if we maintain this philosophy we've employed for the past 5 or 6 games, we'll do well to stay top 6. We need to take the shackles off against the lower teams.

We had everything going for us tonight- the ref was really pro us- Villa were shocking- no injury worries- yet we played as if we only needed to turn up and we would win. A big reality check needed guys. Yes we are top but if we keep playing like that we will be on the slippery slope. Vardy needs some help up top, Shinji was ok tonight but we need more quality.

Haha yeah I heard that one, then about a minute later he was being applauded by their fans when taking a free kick or corner (can't remember). Clearly a bitter guy haha.

I would have rep'd that an quoted This but your spelling was like our performance; one letter out and we looked stupid.

Don't know how Villa fans can boo him... he didn't walk out they just didn't want to renew his contract
