Amartey Signs

With the lack of any real interest in another striker this year I think the plan is to slowly turn the "clean sheet pizza" up a notch and try to free the creative wings of Mahrez and Gray.

Which means he will slot in by Kante's side leaving: 4 -3 - 2 - 1.

How many times does Kante clip the ball out of the opponents feet and we never win the second ball.

Second ball now won; played to Drinky who chooses which side to attack; Mahrez or Gray; thread ball into the 18 yard goal line..and 3 points thank you very much.

We really do have a nack of signing players on the cheap. This guy has supposedly been the best player for Copenhagen over the last few years, arguably the biggest side in Denmark, and he's gone for sub 10m.

That's like us selling Drinkwater, Vardy or Mahrez for the same amount. Their fans must be gutted.

Glad we've brought in a versatile player, we've needed someone like that for a while.

Another good find like Kante hopefully.

Copenhagen fans seem to love him

I'm assuming this means Inler will now go somewhere? Can't see him getting near the first team.

For me this is the most exciting signing since Jimmy Willis.

If you'd have said Bobby Davison I'd have nodded in agreement.

Inler has been almost as disappointing as Danns for me Col, really expected it to work out better

Just didn't fit in how we ended up playing. I can't fault him as a poor signing, especially when you look at how he's been more than serviceable his last few outings.

Looks a bit like John Obi Mikel.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed.

AKCJ's suggested team earlier, I would like to see to be a running success, let loose ASAP.

Then Shinji , King and Gray, bursting to get in on the act, from the bench.

Don't think it's right to have him in the team instantly, as others in his position (Kante, Drinkwater) have been excellent.

Can see him being in the reserves for a bit, which isn't a bad thing when adjusting to a new style of play.

Very useful that he can play two positions, CB and CM. More cover in both those positions now.

Not to crack up expectations or anything, but I'm fairly positive he'd be the one first picked out of any of those four right after he's had a few games to settle in...

I'm sure he's one for the immediate future with regards to a starting spot. Expect him to get more match practice as the season comes to a closure.
