Master Fox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 We're going to be unstoppable on the counter attack now
Fennec-Fox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 No way on earth he is 21!! Looks mid 30s at least Hhhhhhhhh in Africa some tend to Procrastinate few years before registering a new born .... Why the rush! Take ur time
TheLittleBigMan Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 I've said it before, i'll say it again - he's young, he's hungry and he'll probably start chipping it
sphericalfox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 was he signed in time to be eligible at least for the bench today?
AyewJoking Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 WHEYYYY! BREAKING: #lcfc have signed Ghana star Daniel Amartey on a contract until 2020. The 21-year-old said: “It’s a great pleasure to join Leicester City. The team plays exciting, attacking football and I’m looking forward to being part of it.” Full story: http://bit.ly/23jtIke #AmarteyLCFC hope he doesnt sue us under the trade descriptions act.
Larry_LCFC Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 was he signed in time to be eligible at least for the bench today?Think it was still pending premier league approval etc. I assumed he wouldn't be eligible but I don't know how it all works exactly.
sphericalfox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Think it was still pending premier league approval etc. I assumed he wouldn't be eligible but I don't know how it all works exactly. his absence from the line up and the subs bench says it wasn't. my question answered
Webbo Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Whose place is he going to take after that performance?
Mikey Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Seems I'm the only one not that fussed about him, he'll be a bit like cheikou Kouyate at West Ham I reckon Is that a bad thing if he is like Kouyate??
Dr The Singh Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Where the fook is the guy gonna play? We have a tight 11 at the mo, even Simpson has upped his game.
EnglishOxide Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Where the fook is the guy gonna play? We have a tight 11 at the mo, even Simpson has upped his game. I was thinking this. Only scenario I can imagine him getting into the team anytime soon is if Claudio keeps trying to implement 433. -----------Kasper--------- -Simpson--Wes---Huth--Fuchs- -Amartey--Drinkwater--Kante- --Mahrez----Vardy----Gray-- Potentially awesome if Claudio can get it working.
TJB-fox Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Is that a bad thing if he is like Kouyate??Not necessarily, but if we signed Kouyate himself I doubt many fans would be that excited
ithuriel Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Think we will use him for when we play the three in midfield routine against Man City and Arsenal, possibly Liverpool.
Bryn Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I have a sneaking feeling we might use him as a RB.
baldeagle Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 He'll certainly open the bench up a little bit more , one player that can play 3 positions so in theory leaves space on the bench for two other players
weller54 Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I have a sneaking feeling we might use him as a RB. Not a chance.. Simpson too solid for Ranieri to change!

I can't see Albrighton getting binned though

Looks more of a 4-5-1 to me. Not keen we always play better 4-4-2 this season anyway
LegendOfJoe Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I do like King, not a massive fan of Inler but against top teams 3 in the midfield is useful and I don't see either of those 2 being good enough to help us compete...So if Amartey does play he will be in a 3. More confident with that 3 then i would be with Inler who is getting better but a little slow and laboured
Bamba's Babes Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 If King passed forwards he'd be utilised a lot more in my opinion. Far too safe and that just doesn't suit our style.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 25 January 2016 Posted 25 January 2016 Will Amartey at least make the bench for the next game? I wonder
