Has he even signed yet?

He hasn't been spotted at the Marriott with Anderson Perry yet. So no.

Wouldn't blame him for preferring Inter over us but hopefully we have other targets in mind if true.

I know we have apparently rejected the chance to take Remy on loan... Somewhat surprised if that's true, although Eder and Remy seem very different players so perhaps Remy is not the type of player we want.

I wouldn't judge Remy on that 20mins at the weekend anyway. His record is great and he knows the Prem.

Eder or another number 10 type player seems to be the target though

Don't watch Italian football so cannot comment on his ability but looking at his goalscorer record which is decent. Although I said the same about Kramaric.

Vardy has also played a lot less football than most premier league strikers his age, IMO he's got much more in the tank than others who've been in academies since the age of 12.

Not sure why fabs are so worried abiut this one - playing well in a poor sampdoria side. Decent record and a good fit for our side. In terms of his age - for me im interested in the next 15 games, beyond that is for the summer. If Eder comes in a makes a difference then great news!

He's a bit similar to Vardy and Okazaki according to the Youtube scouting - his goals are almost all from running at defenders, on the floor, but (although he looks like he's carrying a bit of timber on the 2015-6 video) he's got good close control.  I dunno what others think but I'd like another target man, we've got two similar players in Okazaki and Vardy, I think we need more height up front to complement them.

Target men are boring. We just need someone to score goals.

Some very tidy finishes here and he looks quick. 2014/15 goals.

Shame that there was no music on the video. I had to play a random song on Spotify when watching it to make it seem more real.

We don't play with target men, when we do people moan as we end up hoofing.

I think he looks much more technically adept than either Vardy or Okazaki and would add something different, that compliments how we play.

Sounds more suited to our needs than Remy. We clearly need another striker option. But, with Schlupp seemingly out for a while yet, we also need experienced cover out wide.

Ranieri always gives the impression we need two players for each position yet we only have three wide attackers just now. Mahrez, Albrighton and Gray.

Seems a sensible fit to me- and if he scored at the weekend he sounds sharp enough to play straight away. Not seen him play but he seems to know where the net is.

If we ever need to revert to the target-man option Ulloa's perfectly capable given a modicum of support. Generally though, it's not an approach that suits our preferred playing style or the make-up of our squad.
