Mint23 Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 As much as I'd like to think we're still looking to the future and eyeing up young talent on the cheap, I can't help but think we're in an position that we've never been in before and may never be in again. We can't afford to wait for another Vardy/Drinkwater etc to take a season or 2 to develop and find their feet in the team/league. If it takes buying a 30 year old for £10+m to win this league or even achieve top 4 then I'm all for it.

Top of the EPL and for the first time ever players would want to come to be part of what could be football history. At the start of January I suggested spending up to £30 million in this transfer window on a few players to try and secure this dream. I was slated and insulted. Perhaps with a few days to go posters are beginning to see a once in a lifetime opportunity.
